Your Top 5 Listings! Currently: Top 5 Characters you want in the next Smash Bros

RoninatorMarx:
Double post for new listing: Top 5 Fighting Game Characters! Don't forget reasons. ^^

5) Burai Yamamoto (Big Bang Beat): Normally, I'm not too impressed with boxers in fighting games, but Burai is different. I like the rushdown strategy I can do with him (Guess I'm that type of guy). Even after the limiter in BBBR, my view of him hasn't changed (Though Heita is closing in the list with regards to that game).

4) Kurumi Mirumati (Vanguard Princess): Okay, she probably made it to my top five for the wrong reasons, but.....but.....she's just soooo cute. DD: I.....I dunno. She scores high on my moe lists. It's probably character love that made me main her in game. I am a guy who shamefully has her haunting my imagination, though is willing to nearly abuse the Juliet assist (which is, the assist picking her up and throwing her to the opponent). DDX

3) Tizoc (Garou: MotW): Tizoc makes it on my Top five simply because of the impact he brings among the cast and in the game. Seriously, among a cast who either fires projectiles or do some high speed moves, Tizoc brings nothing but sheer strength. The only thing of a superpower he has is being able to jump who-knows-how-high while grabbing his opponent before sending him down in one of two fashions.

2) Heart (Arcana Heart): Mostly for the same reasons as Ryu. Despite the lack of my use of projectiles, Heart is one of the characters I won't get tired of using, as I seem to be good with her. Plus, anyone who doesn't agree that she's cute is either blind or soulless. D: <

1) Ryu (Street Fighter): I dunno exactly. I just like how he simply has everything I need: A projectile, an anti-air and a rushdown move. Any fighting game I try usually ends up with me choosing the Ryu of said game first.

blake307:
5. Kazuya Mishima (Tekken) He is one of my all time favorite villains and a badass as well.

4. Mitsurugi (Soul Calibur) Nothing to say except he is one tough SOB and pretty cool as well.

3. Xianghua (Soul Calibur) I always liked her since playing Soul Calibur 2. She is cute and at the same time pretty strong.

2. Hakumen (Blazblue) He is pretty cool and kind of reminds me of some white knight type of warrior. I really like that long sword he carries.

1. Noel Vermillion (Blazblue) I just really like her. I love when she puts her hair down as well. Plus her story is pretty interesting as well.

Sorry, i'm not really that good at explaining things.

SereneMidnight:
1. Noel Vermillion (BlazBlue) - She's just so moe, and she's easy to use.
2. Jin Kisaragi (BlazBlue) - My main in BB. Too bad he's too much of jackass to use often.
3. Heart Aino (Arcana Heart) - Again, my main in AH. Unfortunately, I don't have a PS3 to play AH with...
4. Talim (SoulCalibur) - My main in SC. Her style is the one I grew most accustomed to.
5. Eri Hasumi (Vanguard Princess) - Her style is very similar to Talim, so I quickly grew on her.

BT2:
1. Sakihata Rimi (Phantom Breaker), ye I'm totally cheating. Bishii-san has a spot in my top 10 heroines list.
2. Makise Kurisu (Phantom Breaker), mingos and I'm still cheating, who cares these characters have better story because they aren't originally from a fighting game :|
3. Tohno Akiha (Melty Blood), flat, also ^
4. Hisui, (Melty Blood), maid. Still cheating, this week's choice of topic should've been more restrictive imo.
5. Yuri (Million Knights Vermillion), mingoth voicing gothloli bro-con. Actual game was meh though. Ohey an actual fighting game char.

Totally stretched this one out to a characters who also happen to appear in fighting games top list.

Cael K.:
Okay, I totally can't rank many of my favorite characters against each other, so I'll just list a bunch of games I can kinda play and go with that.

Akira Kazama, Justice High School series - One of the first characters to really resonate with me in fighting games, and one of my favorite characters ever.

Tsubaki Yayoi, Blazblue: Continuum Shift - The angel feather motif ends up looking sleek instead of cliche like it normally does, and she's got the character and playstyle to match. Asami Imai has been said to be very talented at voicing tragic characters who can never find happiness. But that might be why we like them.

Rose, SF Alpha series - Stylish and elegant. Come to think of it, another character whose good endings don't turn out well for her. Charlie/Nash too, and he's my second favorite from this series...

And the cheats.

Vergil, Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 (originally from Devil May Cry 3) - Competing for the top spot in Cael's List of Favorite Villians Ever. Cold, calm, and cool, the man just screams style.

Touka, Aquapazza (originally from Utawarerumono) - Graceful on the battlefield and loyal to a fault, my favorite character from Utawarerumono. (... Okay, I can't kinda play this game, but eh.)
