I gotta say that I never paid much attention to Cinderella Girls up until now since I couldn't play it.
Why would anyone have a problem playing when he can post to forums? I don't think I have a computing device that can't be used to play. Mostly I use my main laptop with Fedora Linux, but sometimes a Windows PC, wife's cellphone, iPad, and Kindle Fire. So... Firewall problems? No time to play?

They're probably referring to not being able to get their account verified.  I've seen some people play unverified, but it's pretty tough to do even get started unless you throw some money into gacha.  I would've given up if my account wasn't verified yet, myself.

It's not like any other online game where you can just pick it up, it's a TON of time investment and a huge pain in the rear for a gaijin (especially if you don't speak japanese; I'm semifluent and I still had issues) with relatively little reward if you're unverified and don't want to drop 20 dollars on a thing to get your account verified. Seriously, you can get the same amount of know-how by reading a few translated cards, comics, and drama tracks.

I don't think "I can't play this" is a massively ridiculous statement at ALL.

Why would posting to a forum have anything to do with playing Cinderella Girls?

I don't understand Japanese so there's no way I'm going to play a game that I don't understand. That's what makes me so sad; I might be able to play it but I'll never be able to fully appreciate what I'm doing. Not to mention that I can't get verified since I'm in the US.

I can listen to Idolmaster songs and memorize translated lyrics, but looking back and forth between a translation guide and a game would be too much work and just suck the fun out of the game.

He means that if you're posting on a web forum, you obviously have a device capable of playing CG.  I know what you mean about not being able to appreciate it, though I personally don't know any Japanese and am enjoying playing it.  Most of the game and its mechanics are pretty easy to figure out after a while (I spent less time figuring things out in this game than I did with EVE Online), and there's no shame in Google Translating your way through if you must.

If you're interested in knowing, these idols have yet to get S Rare cards.

And then there's poor, poor Chihiro. One day perhaps...

Preview of Nao's song. Not as Little Match Girl-y as I imagined, but it's still awfully catchy.

There's two kinds of idols in this upcoming batch.

#1: Syoko

#2: Not Syoko

Patiently waiting for Namco to reveal the #1 preview song. :)

As of the recent event, Nagisa can be crossed off that list. \o/ Also, we'll never see a Trainer S Rare unless it's the Master Trainer.[/possibly sad truth]

I'd like the Trainer's own CD to be a thing, though. And Chihiro too!

I do okay for myself unverified. It's not pretty, but I make it work. I've grabbed every idol and costume from every job and I have all costume rares (and event costume rares since I started playing, few as those have been).

The only advantage I have over a normal unverified player is that I have a Sachiko SRare from her CD, but it's not very good compared to just about every other SRare. It's barely any better than a Rare. I'll have a Miki from One For All. I have three codes for Haruka from Shiny Festa, but I didn't get any of them until after that offer expired.

But man, if I could only claim the ~8000 things in my list.

Try to get verified, man.  Freeing all the crap built up in your gift box is a wonderful feeling.  Now I'm always stuck with 300 extra trainers in my box though :V

So..... why Frederica gacha of all people this week?

Unfortunately a boring song for one of my favorites, oh well.  I didn't think Mitsuboshi was totally awesome when I first listened to it either, but it's pretty great now.

The second Jewelries! cd opened cover requests.

Could somebody explain how to make a request? I don't know Japanese well enough...
