I could explain why I like a song all I want, I doubt it'd change your mind. It's not even about wanting you to like them; I'm not a fan of some of these either.
'I don't like this' is fine, 'People who like this have bad taste' just gets annoying.

Well... Not the person you were talking to, but, from what I can remember from each (as I'm not listening to them at the moment):
Ranko's song is intense and gives off an occult feel or something.
Miku's song has the really cool saxophones in it, but is otherwise plain.
Kirari's song is nondescript, really, though there is a sense of energy in it.
Mika's song is... also nondescript.
Uzuki's song is refreshing and slower than expected, though the Gratuitous English of "Smiling, Singing, Dancing All Night Long" reminds me of a Haruka song.
But I may have a bit of bias, as well. Here's hoping the full versions are better than what the samples are telling.

I have to say that I like all the songs, but Ranko and Uzuki's are high up. Miku and Mika's are above okay. I was a bit shaken with Kirari's, because I was expecting a deeper voice to go with her (I mean, a six-foot idol going nyowa?). But I guess I'll deal soon.
Also, has the results for day two of the elections popped up or we're not gonna see them until the very end?

Yeah, Kirari caught me off guard. I was expecting something else completely, not Yayoi with a growth spurt. XD
I mean, it's not bad, but felt like it'd be more suited for someone like Airi or something.
