For $500, I'd rather take my chances at the gatcha to get 2 of them than one. Either that or a swimsuit Haruka (Gatcha SR+ for the uninitiated).

besides Uzuki do have the biggest attack stats in this game at the moment(disregarding cost)

I'm presuming this happens on defense too, but as I said, if it does, the game isn't telling me who's jumping in for me. 'Least if it does, I don't know where it's telling me.

So was anyone ever able to verify this? Is there any point to pumping defense beyond what's needed for your defensive group to run at 100% capacity? If they don't exist for defense, then is there any reason to boost defense beyond what's neccessary for the core group other than deterring anyone who doesn't know any better?

Miria is the thumbnail on the My Studio page, and the trend for the last four comics has been that whoever that is in the thumbnail is the SRare while everyone else in the comic gets a new version. I'm banking on it being Miria with a new version of Miyu.

unless you mean see them like attack members when you are attacking

well passion could use another SR... just not a ranking one
(every tower and IS event should have a ranking SR and an event SR)
