How many levels are there in the Aqua section? I've cleared 36 and it seems like I'm not running into the rare idol enough. Makes it seem like there might be 50.

I believe there's 40 levels. Don't worry about the number if you can't find the rare one -- there's always the endless version of that stage.
Daverost:
Endless sections have high stamina costs, though... Oh, well. I guess I might clear the area if it's 40, but there's almost no way I'll be able to finish my list.
