I know your leader has a lot to do with it, but I don't have a good rare to use across both offense and defense and I don't have an S rare at all. Defense stat doesn't seem to be doing much. I have almost 80 and I had someone steal an outfit piece from me where I went three minutes later and saw someone with only 30. I've also had a bunch of people fail to beat me, including one guy who keeps desperately trying and has failed about 3-4 times in the last two days.
I just can't figure out why I'm such a juicy target. Is it the leader after all?
--- End quote ---
yeah
its mostly the leader and the def points if you lock your idols properly
since you can only see the leader and def points if you try to attack
=| getting raped by full SR teams
Daverost:
You know, I meant to ask this earlier, but are there any promo idols you can get if you're not registered other than the Iori?
RisingStar:
I don't know if it was brought up before, but are there any CG cards of the 876 idols? And if not, why?

Nope, and why not is anyone's guess.

Don't know what your level is, but I really can't tell you much. You holding onto something everyone wants? Maybe it's your DEF? Just to compare, I'm doing fine just into triple digits, level in the 40's. The only people who attack me are usually people with Rare/S Rare teams. In other words, people who have money, or have been at this longer than I have. It's just how things work. Personally, maybe if you break three digits, most casuals will see THREE DIGITZ OMGZ and look elsewhere. Can't say for certain.
Second thing to ask yourself is if you've drilled someone else into the ground repeatedly. I know one guy who did that, and an entire production came after him.
One thing I've noticed is that you tend not to get attacked if you lay low for a while. I think what happens is that when you go to look for opponents, the game will scrounge up people from the time of... some last action. Which, I can't say - live battles definitely, not sure about doing regular jobs, and I don't think just lessoning will make you pop back up on the searches. Of course, you have to battle for costumes, so eh. If you're really paranoid, do all your jobbing, lessoning, and battling all at once, then lay low until you're ready to battle and hope no one finds you in the meantime.
Battling at Japan night (+11 hours from the East Coast) will probably lower the chance you're attacked, so if you play around... I dunno 2pm EDT on a weekend, most people are asleep? It's not foolproof, of course, there's always the nocturnals. There's probably prime times too, like Saturday all day or something (so, Friday evening EDT might see a bunch of activity).
Best thing to do perhaps, is look at what gives you pause when attacking someone, and try to mimic it. If you have bad luck with groups lead by say... Airi, then if you've got an Airi, you might want to see if making her the leader will cause people to shy away. Or, if you tend not to attack people who run Anzu main, then... well, you've gotta have Anzu, but I think you get the point. Of course, yeah... you have to have idol in question. ^^;;
There's really nothing you can do if someone has it out for you, though... and if you're not spending money on the game, someone who is can walk right over you. 'Tis how things go. Fortunately, most people I've met don't bother me a lot. Rarely, I've seen someone hit me twice in the same day. Occasionally, I'll hit someone twice in the same day. But that's really it, in my experience.

Don't think there are. Sorry.

Nah, I have a lot of people attacking me just for money. It's weird.

I'm thinking it may be this. I'm on it off and on all day (whenever I'm back to full attack power) and I had a sneaking suspicion that something like this was happening.

Definitely not foolproof, but it works well enough. I've managed to finish all of the event outfits and 2/4 of the normal outfits I have that way. Aiming for one of the other normals today.

Yeah, I didn't see any more so I figured. Shame. I see a lot of people with Miki, Hibiki, and Takane and I wouldn't have minded having those. At least the Hibiki.
I got the one Iori for joining the group. How do you get the other? Just make those three posts by hitting those buttons? None of those things have been given to me yet on either gift list.
