Heh heh, I just had a thought.  If Idolmaster had started with Idolmaster Cinderella Girls, which of the existing 13 idols would get an early CD release (based on cards only, voices don't exist, of course)?  By themselves, they sort of triangulate the fanspace, but as part of a larger set, some of them would be redundant.

If you are going base on looks, I think Miki would have been picked cause she easily stands out. The twins might also make it since they are the only twins set. Rin would still have made it and maybe Haruka. Makoto being a boyish girl could have made it as well. Iori and Yayoi would have some series competition. Yukiho wouldn't stand a chance along with Hibiki, Takanae, Chihaya, and Azusa. As for the 876 pro girls, well maybe Ai would made the cut as well.

Hmmm... Out of just the original girls, I think it'd be Makoto, Chihaya, Takane, Yukiho and Hibiki. Maybe Ami and Mami.  Out of all of them, I'd think just Makoto, Chihaya and a loli, whether it was Yayoi or the Futami duo.

Quick question: I keep seeing this thing while I'm doing jobs for the Spring event (not sure if it happens during normal jobs but I'm not going to waste my stamina on them right now) where it says something about a double bonus for working with ______-san (one of my other accounts, I assume because I have all of them under the same production company). Not really sure what I'm getting a bonus on, though. I can't read kanji so I had to feed it into Google translate and it's not easy to figure out what it means. The only thing I seemed to notice an increase in was the one time I saw it with a heart/affection bonus where it granted 4 instead of 2. It hasn't seemed to have had any noticeable affect on anything else like EXP, fans, money, or anything else I've gotten from the event like idols, clothes, or petals.

Anyone have any idea what it does?

I just combined my only copies of one of them into a Normal+ that had some decent defense (Saori). If I end up with more of her I'll see what I can do for you.

I have a ton of Chikas, though. Even at the absolute lowest stats, she's 1300/1300/10 in Normal+. I've gotten a ton of her through the ongoing Spring event. She's part of both my offensive and defensive team because she's a freaking beast, but only if you can manage that high cost.

People can send you support, you can send support back. When someone supports you, you get double completion on whatever job you're on until you finish it (so, if normally you get 10% done, you'll get 20% if someone's hit the support button on you). You can only benefit once a day from such support, for each person that've supported you (so you can't just mash on the button and help someone out infinitely, but if each of your production's 25 members support you, you can benefit from each of them once).

You wanna support people in your production, you can just look at your production's roster, and start mashing buttons.

I also hear that the regular gatcha can get you Rares.

Despite going through the normal gatcha at least 150-200 times, I've never seen a rare appear. It seems like that the probability is the same as getting an SR from the paid gatcha (around .3-1%).

I also have an extra Makoto (Rare, not SR) lying around from free Platinum gatcha rolls from playing two other games (It pays to be verified!). PM me your profile link and I'll make a reasonable offer/give it away.

They trigger it to you. If you pop open your production profile page, you can look at the list of people in your production, right? It's the link that says something like 社員:23人.

There should be a button next to each name once you can see the list of people. Hit that button, and you give support to that person! The page that pops up is only if you want to send them a message, and if you do so, you get more friendship points. Not that you can do anything with them if you're not verified...

Well it's not a huge deal. I have a more pressing concern...

No matter what I do, I can't seem to win a Live battle. Regardless of the opponent's level or defensive cost, I can't seem to get an edge on them. I have a Rare+ starter Yayoi set as my leader with two high attack Cute types as backup so that I benefit from Yayoi's skill as well as the producer type bonus (I picked Cute). They fit within my cost as well, and I'm even getting backup from a 4th unit. Even if I have the advantage in level/cost, I can never seem to win. I admit that I'm fumbling through these for lack of understanding (I did read the few posts in here regarding battles several months ago, though, which is how I know I'm not hurting myself with cost) but I just can't figure out where I'm going wrong. Anyone have any ideas or tips?

Also, it's 5:00 AM in Japan and I didn't get my daily bonus nor can I do the free gacha for today. Is that on a timer (like every 20 hours or 24 hours or something) or does it just happen at a specific time later in the day?

EDIT: It's a little past 6 AM in Japan now and I was just able to get my bonus/gacha, so it looks like that's the rollover time. 5 PM EDT. Just under 24 hours since I did it, so I guess it's not on a timer.

The rollover occurs at 4PM EDT/3PM EST.

For Live battles, you need better front attackers. Starter rares simply don't cut it. Look at my front attackers:


I know I'm probably a much higher level than you (64), but this is much better. Starter rares are better as back attackers than front as their abilities simply don't cut it at higher levels but have a high attack/cost ratio.
