They're really cracking down on unverified accounts -- Pretty much every way to obtain items except through paying money requires verification now, including rank bonuses. It's time to buy a Japanese SIM card for verification, except everywhere that does rips you off.

They're also cracking down on muling and non-mobiles (and taking the rest of the world with them). Mobage registration is now limited to valid JP phone carrier e-mail domains.
