Well, Production Fes is hard if you don't live in Japan or an area around Japan. If you're in EST like I am, you're pretty much screwed out of participating unless you want to wake up at 3 in the morning.

In other news, I'm laughing at the fact that the girls for this next event were picked on a very specific criteria (with the exception of Tomo). But it's interesting to me how we went nearly a year without a produce event and now we're getting tons of them.

Fes gave us even more Saki x Kyouko stuff that I'm loving.

Idol Production is my favorite and the line up is certainly a sight to behold...  I think Tomo hits all the right notes in a different way though. And the facial expressions all look so cute! And we get to learn more about Shizuku too...
I'm surprised they took away the attack cost feature, it was useful.

Well I must say I liked the hinnyuu one more, this kyonyuu themed one is just horrible xD
I wonder who the 2 secret additions for second half are going to be... probably not Rika...

speaking of Rika, why did they release Miku anime promo card when Rika didn't have a new SR in such a long time AND it was her birthday :( Miku had like 3 in the meanwhile...

Btw about the attack cost feature, at least now there is a way to level up affection of idols during the produce event since atk is useless xD But it wasn't that good to begin with since if you used it for 100% good, it meant you have 0% to get perfect - so I only used it for regular community event and for gold i left it to the RNG gods.

Btw I didn't use any of the regular candy yet but how often do you get perfect out of it when you use 3?

Hi everyone i am new to the idolmaster cinderella game but i find it is a very fun game:D  i have been seeing forums and guide and people are saying they are using stamina to get idols. May i know what is this stamina? is it the stamina drink or actual stamina?

The regular stamina (and energy) drink is what is used as a currency for trading idols.

- so make sure to never actually use those to restore stamina.

The ones you can use have "MY" in their name and image, so they are My stamina/energy drink

- these cannot be traded so feel free to use them (as well as the 1/2 ones of the same type) to restore your stamina when you need to do work for event or something

Of course you need verified account (through a Japanese phone number) to be able to trade in the first place, but even if you don't have it now, in the offchance you do get it verified one day its worth saving these since they are really not easy to come by without paying tons of real money (without discount they equal to about a dollar each but you can often get them in a discounted fashion so they are like 50 cents each [I usually only get the 50 coin/cent gatcha that gives you 2 drinks or 100 for 3+2 promo etc, but that is usually only limited to very few scratches and the rest are more expensive] . And you need like 300+ for some of the 21 cost idols and that is only for regular SR, so double for SR+).

You cant access the free trade marketplace without verified account.
The prices for SR cards usually are:

14 cost or less:
regular = 1 drink or less [example: 13 cost ibuki for 1]
very limited/favorite = 5-20 drinks [example 14 cost eve for 20]

15-16 cost
regular = 1-2 drinks [example 15 cost kaede for 2]
very limited/favorite = 20-100 drinks [example 15 cost momoka for 45]

17-18 cost
regular = 1-10 drinks [example 18 cost nono for 8]
very limited/favorite = 50-400 drinks [example 18 cost anastasia for 100]

19-20 cost
cheap/unlimited = 25-100 drinks [example 20 cost yui for 75]
limited/favorite= 100-500 drinks [example 19 cost karen for 500]

21 cost
regular event ranking SR = 150-250 drinks [example 21 cost feifei for 200 (you can get the SR+ for only 300 since the nonupgraded card is cuter)]
gatcha SR = 200-600 drinks [example 21 cost nana for 400 (current gatcha)]
favorite event raking SR = 400-1000 drinks [example 21 cost arisu for 500]

There are of course lot of exceptions where lower cost (17-20) card can be even 1000 drinks and also some very cheap 20 costs for like 15.

In the higher costs the prices vary a lot based on sometimes unknown factors and also change quite often. For example the 20 cost yui I mentioned above was one of the very last gatcha 20 costs before it switched to 21 costs, and so she dropped from 500 to like 75 current price.

Some stat factors deciding how much a card costs are whether the card has more attack than def, whether it has an attack buff (generally anything with def and def buff is bad and hence super cheap), whether the buff is random (so only buffs some people) or full (buffs everyone) etc.
Some art factors deciding how much a card costs are voice, swimsuit/summer dress, wedding dress.

And well the difference between being verified and not is that you can trade, enter special campaigns, receive daily bonuses for logging in and use friendship points to level up idols. Without trading you are pretty much locked to RNG what you get and earn yourself which is pretty bad if you like particular type of idols or a specific idol in particular, since you'll have very low chance to get her (pretty much 0 without spending lot of real money). When you can trade you just trade what you get and don't want for the girls you want or like.

No, the daily login bonus is like a my stamina drink, platinum gatcha, during some special events like now the anime airing you can get like the golden 3% 5% and 10% SR gatchas etc.

The free trade marketplace is the orange icon

Well the biggest tip is to try asking someone in Japan you might know to verify your account since without it it sucks.

Otherwise just do events and try to get lucky to earn some of the SRs from there. Level up idols, don't special train idols unless you get MAX affection and maximum level on BOTH of them.
Put all stats into STAMINA when leveling your producer (earned points from work).

PS: you should look at learning to read at least kana (hiragana and katakana), it takes like 2 days to learn them all since there is not that many of them. And knowing it helps so much in games (lot of item names/menus are katakana as they represent english words, such as スタミナドリンク - sutamina dorinku = stamina drink). And lot of easier words and phrases are in hiragana so again very useful to master these 2.

For kanji well I can't read most of them either, kanji is too hard xD But some basic ones you will learn as you go.

Yeah if you can't read much of what it says than probably let them do it. You can access the verification thing even from the shop icon and it should also be somewhere on your studio page in red color iirc. You just click it and follow the instructions, send the sms, input the code that you receive and that's it.
