So, on the other hand, if I just want to empower my deck a little with a mediocre 14 cost S Rare, it's enough to max their affection and level them around 30-40ish of 60 to be a nice addition, at the cost of her becoming slightly weaker than her max, and of course having a low trade cost, right? Or is that an absolute no-go?

Some idol cards get weak stat bumps at low levels, and get higher stat bumps at high levels. Some are the opposite, and some get constant stat bumps no matter what level they get.

But if you're only lookin' for a small boost to your ATK or DEF, then yeah, pretty much. (EDIT: But only if you don't plan on upgrading.) First post has some links to power calculations, but here's the distilled version.

not getting max level is a MISTAKE! (i've been there, ruined an S rare like that)

If you get max level, then the idol takes 10% of the stats where as with anything less, even 59, it only takes 5%.
Max affection can be left out for just a minor decrease (few hundred per idol) but the level decrease is HUGE (thousands of stats).

I think max hearts on an upgraded idol was Base * .375, though.

so as you can see max level x2 is a huge difference, adding the max affection is not that big of a deal after that but ma level is a must for the extra 10% of each instead of just 5%.

I think I know the site you got those numbers from... can't remember where it is, but I do my calculations a bit differently. I go from base stat on the non-upgraded card, then calculate up. The numbers can be a little off, but only by a few points.

Max hearts on a non-upgraded card gets .125 of the base stat in a bonus.
Level ups give a total of 1.5 times the base stat in bumps (so they'll end up with 2.5 times their base stat). The max heart bonus is added on top of that.
Max upgrade adds +10% of the card's stat to the new card. Non-max is +5%. I'm pretty sure you round up... but it might be round nearest.
Base stats on an upgraded card is 1.2 times the non-upgraded card. They get the upgrade bonus after that 1.2.
Max heart on an upgraded card is .375 times the upgraded card's base stat (or .45 times the regular card's base stat).

So... getting max heart on a 1000 ATK idols grants a +125 ATK bonus to that idol.
That idol will gain 1500 ATK from levels, ending up with 2500 ATK. Max hearts and max levels mean her ATK can get to 2625.
Upgrading with a full max card will give you around a +263 bonus for that card (2625 * .1, round up). If you've got two, then you get a total of around +526.
The upgraded idol will have a base stat of 1200 ATK (1000 * 1.2, but you can look it up on the wiki or something). With a double max upgrade, you're lookin' at around 1756 ATK at level 1.
Max heart on the upgraded idol (double max or not) is +450 (1200 * .375).

When you max a regular 1000 ATK card, you'll get 1000 (base stat) + 1500 (max level) + 125 (max heart) = 2625.
When you max two 1000 ATK cards and upgrade them, you'll get a level one card at 1200 (upgraded card base stat) + 263 (first card max upgrade) + 263 (second card max upgrade) = 1726.
When you double max a 1000 ATK card, then max that card, you get a maximum of 1200 (upgraded card base stat) + 1800 (max level) + 450 (upgraded max heart) + 526 (double max upgrade) = 3976.

If you look at Chika's N stats, they'll come out to the same. The upgrade bonus can be off by a point or two for other idols' cards, but it gets you pretty close. If I'm remembering right, the site with those numbers does calculations backwards from the stats on an upgraded card to get some multiplier or coefficient. I calculate forwards starting with the regular card, and compare it to what I see an upgraded card has. I think it's easier that way.

Ah yes, the website does this as a calculation to determine what the person used to upgrade the card, I already mentioned in my previous post a page or 2 back but I can repost since its useful.
Where I got the stats is http://www18.atwiki.jp/imas_cg/pages/240.html which is very useful site, its under the "Q.MAX特訓って何？　親愛ボーナスとか無特訓のキャラって、どうやって見分けるの？" the numbers are the result of the formula to determine the used isols.

What they link to is the checker http://nanairo.info/imas_cg/mainte-check.php where you put in this order:
current stat on a + card: #####
base stat on a non upgraded card: ####
Is affection max? NO / YES
What's the current level? 1 / MAX

then it will tell you the result according to the table listed in the first website or a variant that can happen, for example it can be like Affection max only x2 OR it can be like non upgraded + upgraded to lvl 40 only etc.
Usually the occams razor works there, the solution with the least amount of assumption is the correct one so often times its like people forget to MAX or people only MAX etc.

A while ago I actually bought one of these ripoff S rare+s for 2 drinks thinking how good of a deal I got only to later find that its missing like 4000 attack, the regular price was 6 and I barely managed to sell it back for 3 but it took like 9 free trade tickets (3x listed). I mean I got the album entry for her I guess so maybe it was worth it xD



But yeah for novap: especially if you don't have verified account you should squeeze what you can before you upgrade, there is no going back and it doesn't take that much effort, MAX love is super easy during an event or just during a day with LIVEs, you only need 40 on each, max level doesn't take that long either since you get lot of idols, money and trainers from events so just use those (don't use master trainers on S rares if you plan to upgrade them later). Once you get verified you can easily buy all those cheap 17/18 cost S rares and upgrade them with idols from FPs (usually comes out cheaper than if you were to buy S rare + and as I mentioned earlier level max 3 times is not worth even a drink).

No, for the love of god please max level and get max affection for anything you plan on merging.  Leveling is tedious, but the auto-leveler (which was discussed a page or so ago on this thread) makes it so much easier.

... Gonna edit my post up there, but yeah, if you want a Plus idol, then double max her. If you're looking for a quick boost to your stats, feel free to take a non-Plus and level her to like 40 or something, just don't upgrade her until you max her. No matter what, you'll lose some stats when you upgrade, so jump the gun or not, your boosts will disappear.

Though at level 40, you can get the rest of the way with around 10 Veteran Trainers. Maybe 6 or 7 if you hit a Perfect Lesson.

I notice a trend with these team events where your team gets disbanded after a loss (or 3rd place) and from there you only lose.
Basically we had really good team, first or second place for the first rounds, everyone active and all, it was actually hard to even get like 3rd place on some of the mega point steal battles as they got to even like 150mil (and the points were beautiful from those, around 250k on the first days, nicely taking away both regular and 3% S rare tickets).

But then one day we were matched with 4 really strong teams, it was pretty close till the end but then we ended up 3rd, even on that day the battles went up to 150mil. And then boom, everything went to crap. It disbanded the team, put me in some new one and only few people most of which are from our miniteam are doing anything, cant even reach 20mil mega steal. Spent like all of mystamina drinks on it to discover those battles but I don't feel like anyone is even doing anything, have to finish all my them myself.

Does this disband always happen to be this drastic or was I just unlucky in both events I did (the other one being the Asuka one)?

That sounds intriguing, but does not seem to work. If I go into someone's profile, and hit "トレード" or "贈り物", the attached happens. The items under "ホシイモノリスト" are not clickable at all.

Oh you need to be verified for that as well. Its just that you can't trade with a specific person otherwise (you can't see names in the free trade).

I was saying it that if someone does help him verify his account and he is from the same production, he can then pay them for it in stamina drinks.

Although thinking about it, it might be better to take the conversation somewhere else than the game chat (if you like have other contact for your production members), since it might be considered trading ingame goods for outside of game services.

Well, hopefully I'll be able to get at least one of them and break my misfortune when it comes to Coin slot machine, I never managed to get the S-rare idol there in like 5 events already even though I get like 70% of everything there is to get (last event result: http://i.imgur.com/5AM6gwk.png ). [well there is still hope for this last event to get exact 10k rank but the chance of that is very slim xD]

Well when I started playing like 5 weeks ago I quickly got 2 20cost S rares that I quickly sold for 70 stam each (it was Sanae and Rumi and since I prefer my girls to not be OLD, I got rid of them very quickly... that and they had no voice xD) and bought tons of cheaper S rares to get my roaster quite strong (well not that cheaper, I got Hoshii Miki in the bee costume and akuma Miria from the more expensive ones, but rest usually around 4-8 drinks).

So maybe I exhausted my luck on that and so I am doomed to buy the event S-rares once they are released for trade xD Only really want Kai anyways though. Even she is a bit on the older side but at least she is not over 20 like everyone else in this event. This last even in general had only old girls, now that I think about it. So seems like its compensated with this upcoming one having all the young flat girls that I love so much


BTW how exactly does this event go, since as you said it didn't happen since november, I never saw it. Is it like limited timeframes like the last event or all day like for example battle royale?

Stamina is your primary power unit.  You'll select a girl and it'll open up the work interface with her.  Every time you press the work button, you'll get a chance of bringing up an appeal chance time.  Using a normal appeal will trigger an RNG roll and give you either a Good, Normal, or Perfect.  If you get a Good, your heart meter will increase by 1 unit.  Normal grants 0, and Perfect grants 1 or 3 heart units (depending on if the appeal message appears in blue or gold, respectively).  Fill a heart meter up with 5 hearts to gain a level.  Each idol has a specific level goal, and you'll be awarded a card for attaining that goal.

If you have full attack power, or at least 80, you can use it to get a guaranteed good appeal.  There are also event items that can grant you a guaranteed Perfect.  I recommend you use these items on gold appeal chances.

Sometimes you'll trigger a chance time of 10 minutes (usually after attaining a Perfect appeal, a certain amount of Goods, or after leveling up your heart meter) which increases the probability of receiving gold appeal chances.

Just a few questions

1. As with the production battle where energy was the main resource, is there like a 30minute cooldown thing that restores your stamina to full as well? Or are you granted round specific stamina drinks or something? I'm guessing ill be able to buy something with rare medals at least.

2. It says that the higher the appeal of the "memorial idol" are the bigger the reward, chibi power counts towards it. So does that mean I should always use the strongest idol only or is it good switching to other ones? My highest total parameters idol is actually the 18 cost Sana and she might also get bonus since she is the event mascot so would that be the best choice? Or would someone with like extra large self attack buff get me more points? Or do I have to switch to others once I reach the max heart thing? (and if so does that reset every round?)

3. Are there daily point rewards like the last event (it was so great, i managed to get platinum and the 3% one every day at the 210k mark) or is it like the production thingie where it doesn't reset every day?



I just want to make sure I get my chances to get those S rares as high as possible since I love these 2 girls xD And last event drawing 70% of all the coin rewards wasn't enough to get even one for me, need to aim for full draw till reset xD
