Seems like the second voting part will be much more important since there is more voting tickets from this event. Previous event it was 7k and 100k (which I sometimes didn't even to reach as it was like double rank S requirement) and now it is 1k and 10k which is not even rank S (that's 15k for this one) so pretty much everyone is getting 2+ tickets a day.
And also in the slot machine in the previous event there only were 5 tickets total and now there are 20 of them so I'd expect to get at least like 5-8 from there.

So yeah, I suspect the final results to change drasticly. Also people will be crazy about the new Yui card so Passion might finally get some more love xD

Men I really hope that Syuko, Yumi and Shiki stay at the top 9 in the end. I don't mind if Yui gets into the top 9 (I think she is already awesome) and maybe this could also be a chance for Tamuki and Kyoko to get more love.

Well, I went with my heart and dumped another 15 votes to Rika xD I believe that more people will realize she was missing there and vote for her to at least push her to top 3 passion

I know it's unlikely -- but there's still a possibility that an idol could win the election twice. Which is cool I suppose... but I'd rather not see that happen, just because I want someone different each year. Plus the votes used for Airi/Ranko/Rin would go elsewhere.

That all aside... I've been pumping my support for Nono. Not because she's my favorite idol, but because she's my favorite unvoiced idol. IMHO we fans need to manipulate these elections for more drama CD's and image songs.

I think the fandom has been avoiding voting prior girls for that reason. Rin's hanging around in 3rd place of cool, but she always is there anyways. But Ranko and Airi's places slip every year, it seems like. I don't know if that's overall popularity or just election rankings, but Ranko seems as popular as ever, so I think it's the latter.

Still, I think they should be out of the running period. But then they'd lose a place on the finalist CDs, and Scamco doesn't want to lose sales by losing the idols driving purchases.

I've been voting mostly Syuko with some Mika and Miku. I'm not especially into Miku- I like her but she's maybe in my top 30 at best- but I would really like to see a Cute win the title for once lol

You can either rank in for the week, you can free trade for some, or you can drop real money for mobacoins and use those to get some.

For stamina and energy drinks real money is not that of a viable option for most people, otherwise you are paying like 1000 bucks for a single idol even (1 stam drink costs like $0.9 USD) xD
Probably getting those gatchas and step promos where you have increased chance of S rare might not be bad, I didn't buy those with real money but from the events and such what I got I already got 2 idols that I can sell for about 70-80 stam drinks (sold one so far to buy chibi akuma Miria for 60 and still have one - basically you want to get 20 cost idols and trade those, even the ones I got that didn't evne have voice sold very well since they have good stats but you can trade them for voiced idols easily).
Other slower ways can be the event cards, if you can get the good ones from the slot machine and the rankup, you can trade those after they open for sale, I for example traded my Asuka (one of the last event S Rares rewards) for 12 stam drinks and then few days later, I bought her for 2 energy back since I missed her xD
Other way is to use your free trade tickets to earn it (you get those from platinum gatchas), for example you can buy 2 regular S rares like the Miku one for 4 stam each, special training it and dump some levels into it (usually a stam drink is worth about 2mil money from what I observed) and sell the S rare + for 13. It will cost you 9 free trade tickets (2x3tickets to buy them and then 3tickets to sell) but you get 5 stam drinks.

But yeah, without real money its much harder but if you have something to spare if you can score a hit on the limited S rare like for example currently the Yui one, it sells even over 300 stam drinks (thats like 300 bucks worth of stam drinks) so if you buy 50 bucks worth of gatchas for the special Step gatcha where the chance to get her increases and all and get her, you are in huge profit.

I mean, one would think at least there will be one or two of them among all the other girls, but oh well.

I also just got this little beauty, though I'm pretty sure she is somewhat common, but I'm happy since I am back to the game after more than 3 years off time and didn't have a whole lot of things on my hands.

Also if you got her for coins from the slot machine then lucky you, its like one in 2000 xD I thrown in like 1000 coins but didn't get her yet, got all the stupid 1/1 and 2/2 chibi clothes but not a single idol xD But hey I'm working towards her in the overall ranking points so hopefully I can get there in time.

It was from that blue medal gacha, but I'm still not sure what means what after this long break.
Some things I need to sort out:
1. getting into an active production, since my former, Xenoglossi/a/ is seemingly dead
2. a good allocation for atk/def/stamina (they are currently 125/108/111)
3. if possible, look for some not too shady way of verification

Ah then you got really lucky, basically every draw is like 1:2000 chance to get it reducing over time, some people get hundreds of coins without getting it xD (like me ).

for production, I joined a Japanese production, we are currently around lvl 70 so if you want to join you can here

for stam/atk/def I am putting everything into stamina so I'm at 267/53/63, I only started playing like a month ago but I never needed either attack or def for anything and the more stamina you have the more the 1/2 my_stam drinks restore - you need lot of stamina for events if you want to be able to discover good units worth lot of points and blue medals (and on subsequent events other color of medals).
And for events the cost doesn't matter at all, you just want as costly idols as you can get since the only limit is 10 front and 10 back members, no atk/def cost limit at all. Actually its better to have as low attack as possible so it recharges faster, since for example during this event you can use the power of your production for the cost of 100% of your atk and it summons 10 random leaders from your production, but it always cost 100% of your attack and gives the same bonus whether you have 50 or 500 atk, so having less means you can use it more often without drinks.

And as for verification, well ask your friends living in Japan or find someone who will do it for few bucks on some freelance jobs forum

I see, thanks for the answers.
One little observation, I think calling the production's leaders for help only cost you 100 points at most, not actually 100%, since I always had a spare ~20 points left.
And my deck costs 74 points atm, so I think I need at least as much.
