Eh. Two days into the event and it won't let me participate. No idea why. I can't make sense of this message with my limited Japanese and the Google translation isn't helping.

If I had to guess, it may be telling me that I can't because too many people in my production have been inactive or something, but that can't be right. And also doesn't make sense to filter entire productions out of the event like that.

The tracklist for the 2nd set of "THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA MASTER jewelries!" CDs are released! As usual, they come with a new type song, 5 covers, a new group song, a drama, and karaoke versions of the new songs (group song only in the Cute set). They each cost ¥2,100 (est. $18.73).

New Group Song: ゴキゲンParty Night (Gokigen Party Night/Happy Party Night)
Lyrics: Yuriko Mori
Composition: Ono Takamitsu
Arrangement: Chihiro Tamaki

Cool set (12/17/14) (Mizuki Kawashima, Koume Shirasaka, Anastasia, Nao Kamiya, and Karen Hojo):
1. New Group song: オルゴールの小箱 (Orgel no Kobako/Small Music Box)

1. New Group Song: パステルピンクな恋 (Pastel Pink na Koi/A Pastel Pink Love)

There are no songs by Angela this time, what a shame! :(  Wait, isn't Pupa an anime of this year!? :o
By the way, Mada kimi ni koishiteru may be the same song that Mingosu and Chiaking covered in THE IDOLM@STER RADIO, I need to check it!

Well, Mingosu covered 'KISS Shite' in "THE IDOLM@STER RADIO COLORFUL MEMORIES" CD if that counts.

EDIT: And add Azumi, Manami and Yumi's cover of 'Miagete Goran Yoru no Hoshi o' from "THE IDOLM@STER STATION!!! Nouvelle Vague" CD too. And yes, 'Mata Kimi ni Koishiteru' is indeed covered before, but it's from Manami and Yumi's "Monday Night Fever" CD.

Pretty sure it's permanent. I think it said the puchi-deras help you out in Live Battles, and they could help out in events... maybe.

Sort of off topic, but Pupa was an anime that aired at the beginning of this year. The episodes were shorts though (only around 5 minutes long instead of the usual 24 minutes that most normal running length anime episodes are) and the anime as a whole was absolute trash. I dropped it three or so episodes in iirc. Its basically a "horror" anime about a guy and his sister. The guy gets regenerative powers and his sister turns into a monster, so he lets her eat his flesh (and the anime tried its hardest to make it really weird and erotic) and that's about all there is to it really. It's really boring, there was pretty much no plot. Unless you're the type of person that gets off on monster girls/incest/gore I'd tell you not to bother.

Gaijin block is somewhat lifted.  You can take items out of your gift box now but you still can't use free trade.  Have at it, guys

Edit: Okay so I literally just got my first SR with my first claimed rare ticket.

Since they've changed the claiming of gifts I'm probably gonna give the game another shot.

I'm having an issue where for whatever reason sometimes when I want to combine the cards to transform them they just plain don't show up? For instance I have three normal Yuka Nakano cards, but when I select one of them for training the other two just plain don't show up on the selection screen. I've tried fiddling with the tabs and the selections on the page where you select cards to combine with the previously selected card but none of them seem to help. The same thing happens when I pick one of my rare Miku Maekawa cards. The other card of the same type just doesn't show up for selection. The cards I'm wanting to combine are the exact same. Since I know absolutely no Japanese I'm assuming the issue has to do with me having screwed up somehow. Just earlier today, though, I combined two Chiaki Kurokawa normal cards to transform her to a Normal+ and it worked fine, so I don't know why I'm having the issue transforming Yuka and Miku. Any help is appreciated.

Sometimes it won't let you select an idol if one of them's in your attack or defense squads... or something. Try removing someone from both of them?

I had the exact same issue, but after some tinkering I found out the solution... You go to the button under メニュー, find the button that starts with アイドル (it's pink), find the idols with a lock next to their title, and press the last button under their stats that ends with 除する. That removes the "lock" and makes them available to specially train.

Also, the group songs are available for a preview in the sound booth. I haven't given them a listen yet...

The 3 theme group song previews are here.

"Orgel no Kobako" sounds nice but the other two felt bland.
