Idolmaster Cinderella Girls

Huh. I can't really draw out a behavioral pattern here, other than the voters have gone into total anarchy in their choices. Probably because of the chance that their fave idol to be voiced has increased compared to last year's election. Regardless, I'm glad that Uzuki and Mio are in the top five this time around, and some unvoiced characters are stepping up, too. ^^

I still think the whole Top 3 of each type thing is a good idea to give every character type a fighting chance as well as give unvoiced popular characters a voice. I do wonder if those idols would then be featured in the anime or even the 7th Batch.

At the very least, Cool idols aren't dominating the elections this year. Or at least, not yet. This is subject to change until the 18th, so we just have to be patient.

Besides, no matter who it is, I'm drawing the Cinderella Girl of 2014 once she's announced.

I hope Chieri can overtake Rin, because Chieri's adorable and she'd make a good Cinderella Girl, and because it'd be REALLY boring for Rin (or even any of the New Generations girls) to win.

I gotta say that I never paid much attention to Cinderella Girls up until now since I couldn't play it. At least I could watch the anime and get to know the original idols better (which I'm glad I did). Now that the anime is coming out I'm getting much, MUCH more into learning about this herd of other idols.

It appears that the Cinderella Master girls are the ones most likely to appear in the anime (except for Momoka and Nina, who were in the PV as well). I was hoping that some of the remaining more interesting idols would also make appearances. Now, we don't really know anything at this point, but I thought of looking at the most recent popularity poll to see who's everybody's favorites. Well, that and we're getting key visuals over the next few months.

I have to say that there are many idols that are interesting or at least have one or two interesting traits. I'll admit that I like some idols because they're attractive, but it would be nice to see them receive some characterization other than "pretty woman/cute girl," especially ones like Layla and Hijiri, who are mysterious and (apparently) has a beautiful singing voice, respectively.

Anyways, the non-Master girls from this poll's halfway point that interest me are:
7th - Fumika Sagisawa
34th - Mukai Takumi
37th - Makino Yagami
40th - Ayame Hamaguchi

I know that popularity doesn't completely dictate whether a character appears, but there are 34 other idols that I would like to see appear in the show. That's asking a lot, especially since there are 30 Master girls + 2 non-Master that are 99.9% likely to appear. Then again, we don't even know how many episodes there will be or how long each episode will last.

I'm glad that this will be getting an anime since it's made me much more interested in Cinderella Girls.

Also, when was CG last updated? I'm just curious as to who was the last batch of idols to be added or if there will be any more anytime soon.

Though I gotta ask. How do I get other party members? Sure the total synergy was awesome, and I wait to see the day I get to pull Mio's 3 3-side-dice skill on a boss, but seeing that there are more recruitable party members got me questioning how to get them.

If it's just like the April Fool's game, step on the panels with the outline of a chibi idol. They're nice and colorful.

The general strategy for me was to get party members first, then fight/perform and step on the Return to Start panels as many times as I needed to grind up. Early game Sachiko mimics are killer, though.

And I actually pulled off Anzu's triple-1 skill. It was glorious.

Tried. I'm always getting Rin, Mio, Anya and Rina in that order. I've tried actually performing first and racking up points before stepping on one, but to no avail. I'm thinking that it's just the game I have... orz

I don't know who I'd want to take number one in the poll, but Rin does seem like a strange choice. I mean, yeah she's cute and popular, but I never imagined she'd be THAT popular. I guess she embodies the dream of being a normal girl and becoming an idol.

I know that the three starters are popular because of their level of exposure (everyone starts with one of them, and IIRC they're your first + idol in the tutorial) but Rin just... never really stood out to me. Especially not to the point of leading the Cinderella Girl poll.

Also, stupid question, but who won the first two? Airi and Anastasia? Or am I confusing Anastasia's victory with some other event? It seemed a little too recent in my mind, but maybe I'm just imagining it. I do clearly remember Airi taking it, though.

Airi won the election of 2012 and Ranko won the election of 2013. Anastasia did make the top 5 in 2013, though.

Personally, I'm more excited for the Top 3 in each categoty than who makes the Top 5 in general. Better opportunity for Ascended Extras.

Anastasia got second place in 2013 and was the only one in the top five without an image song prior, IIRC. I forget who else was in the top 5 besides her and Ranko though. I remember Chieri being sixth though.

Edit: Looking back, Kaede was third, Sachiko was fourth, and Rin was fifth.

Also, my mistake, Chieri was seventh. Apparently I remembered wrong. Seems that Mayu overtook her, while Chieri barely beat out Karen, then 9th was Anzu and 10th was Koume.

To me it seems there's no definite rhyme or reason as to when or what kind of cards an idol gets. Popular idols do tend to get cards sooner and they tend to be S Rares, rather than Normals or Rares. Outside of popularity, there's no real pattern I don't think. Preferably idols who haven't gotten new cards in awhile should get new cards but the devs can do whatever they want lol

If you're interested in knowing, these idols have yet to get S Rare cards.
