You'd have to be one rich producer to try and rank in to get any ranking SR. 'Tis how it works.

Yeah, you have to throw loads of real money at CG just for all of the drinks required to beat out everyone else.

Good grief. The stage clothes set is called "Sexy Camouflage". They are at the end of the rope, aren't they?

Meanwhile, I bought my first SR (Miyo). Ended with about $10 all told -- 200 coins for a Special gacha that dropped me 5 drinks, and 500 coins for straight drinks.

So, since things are kind of slow, let's get a discussion started. I've been on 4chan lately and some of them bring up some interesting points about the CGs and if they get a game.

One thing was their stat categories. You know, Vocal, Visual and Dance. The way I see it is that it would probably be broken up like this:

Vocal: Uzuki, Rin, Kaede, Mizuki, Riina
Visual: Airi, Anzu, Kirari, Ranko, Kanako
Dance: Mio, Rika, Mika, Miho, Miku
(Let me hear your thoughts)

Another point is whether or not the CGs will have interesting backstories. Much isn't known about any of them, either. Stories like Chihaya's brother and Yayoi family being poor are the kind of stories we need, interesting ones that gives us a better feel for the character.

Let me know what you think. Would a CG game be worth getting?

Define the game, and we'll start talking. It really all comes down to that. Throwback to old Boxm@s mechanics? Off the wall CG vs. ML tag team fighting game?

Me personally, I think it'd be hil-frickin'-larious if they did, whatever form it might take. Even... if it's a game where they all pilot mechas and face-punch meteors.

Another point is whether or not the CGs will have interesting backstories. Much isn't known about any of them, either.

To a certain extent, I think this is on purpose - I feel the aim was more to let fans be fans, and to see what they come up with.

After the new arena opened, I cannot win anything. Either it's people with 200 to 400 power, or 51 and closet. Got 5 closets in a row just today.

Haha, I got way too into this.

Personally, I think [the stats are vocal, dance, visual, and out of 10, for reference]:

Rin: 7 / 5 / 2. Pretty normal gains from good communications and lessons, but loses tension easily from bad commus.
Anzu: 2 / 1 / 8. Slow stat growth. Gains a ton of tension from days off.
Kanako: 4 / 2 / 6. Fairly stable tension.
Kaede: 9 / 5 / 4. Like Ritsuko where if you slack off in producer stuff, her tension drops.
Rika: 3 / 7 / 6 Less stable tension than Mika, but faster growth.
Ranko: 6 / 2 / 3 Tension allllll over the place.
Miku: 2 / 9 / 8. Tension drops easily from bad commus.
Kirari: 4 / 7 / 10. Tension is always sky-high.
Mika: 3 / 6 / 7. Slower growth, but more stable tension than Rika.
Uzuki: 5 / 4 / 6. Very stable.
Miho: 2 / 4 / 5. Pretty much Yukiho when it comes to the non-stat related parts of producing.
Riina: 6 / 8 / 2
Airi: 2 / 3 / 8
Mizuki: 9 / 4 / 5
Mio: 3 / 7 / 6

Guess I was kinda vague, hehe, sorry. Actually I think a CGvsML would be cool, though fitting 40+ VAs into a game with at least 15-16 songs would be kinda dificult. At least I think it would be. And let's not forget the DLC.
But as far as gameplay, maybe an improved version of iM@S 2's, with the option to produce one idol or more than one. I think choosing between the two options opens the possibility to see more to the idol, a more personal approach for producing a single idol and special character interactions for producing a unit.

Ranko: 6 / 2 / 3 Tension allllll over the place.

Arguably the hardest idol to produce ever lol.

Or a unit of Anzu and Ranko, lol. That would be... difficult.

... I still feel like Uzuki is Visual. The manga had Rin point out Uzuki's smile as cute, and (IIRC) Rin mentioned that Uzuki should go into acting. I also agree with most of Maka's ideas; I do see Mika as having slightly more Visual than Rika, and vice versa with Dance.

The new batch of characters seem pretty unique. Though I'm wondering what's up with Aki's normal(?) costume (the military green one). Rina is definitely one of my favorite CGs now; really digging her look.

Art for upcoming Cinderella group CD.

As a writer, it's a personal opinion that characters do not have the need to be so deep. Sure, they may look static or flat this way, but being flat nor static does not mean they're unlikable- hell many like them now even though they may feel like that. And like Cael said- They're probably waiting on the fans to see what we think we could extend for them. I think the Ankira duo initially was just one guy noticing the yin-yang between Kirari and Anzu, people then followed suit, and now it's canon. They're waiting to see if we'll come up with something like that again. So did Namco steal an idea from its fans? Maybe, but big corporations are believed to be like that anyway. XD

Off the wall CG vs. ML tag team fighting game?

I don't think it'll be difficult. Maybe just a bit tedious. Anyway, a CGvsML fighting game shouldn't be so complex. The top 15 of both sides may appear with Harukakka as the final boss. Players select their character, then select one from a predetermined number of songs that determines her SDM among other things (a la Arcana Heart). There can also be a voltage meter (similar to KOFXIII's Drive Gauge) and when activated, its effects may also vary depending on the song chosen. In terms of group battles, it could be a 3-on-3 tag team match-up, and only the anchor character can activate the song-designated SDM.[/nerd]

And yes, you may steal this from me, Namco. As long as you give me credit. XD

I'm torn between visual and vocal for her... Vocal since she's a lot like Haruka, and Visual since Rin is stronger vocally and I like the idea of the 2 cost alliance having different specialties, and for the reasons you listed even though I haven't read the manga

The CD batch is pretty... odd. The only one I can say that I predicted was Sachiko. I would have guessed that the Cool CD would go to Nao or even Karen. ??? I would have never guessed that Miria would get a CD in a million years, tbh.

Well, Uzuki does have one of the more unique voices so that's why I'd consider her a Vocal.

I saw Sachiko, Nana, and Akane coming, but Miria and Minami were a surprise. Well, I don't dislike either of them, but Nao and Karen better get a debut. Then Triad Prism will be complete!
Now that I think about it, Yuki, Arisu and Natalia debut pls! ;-;
