yeah its impossible to get the ranking SR
and the 25k SR (or freebie SR) is called freebie because its actually easy to get (provided you have a decent team)

I know I got the 5-star Reiko with the animal theme for something or other in that particular Idol Survival event.

They don't, but I think they only increase the attack of your leader. Not too sure about that, but I know they don't have to be your leader to get the bonus.
