When you special train two rare/srare idols together, do their skill levels get carried on too, or does it reset? Like for example, if i special train a rare card with a lv3 skill with another one with lv2 skill, does it become lv5, or does it go back to lv1?

The skill level goes back to level 1.

I see, that's a relief. Now I know to save my rares for after I merge the two idols.

Also regarding the current event, there's a chance of entering some kind of special (?) phase with the idol, where there's a timer set at 10 mins. Does anyone know what that effect does, or whether there is any effect at all? Because as far as I can tell, there doesn't seem to be anything special going on.

It doubles the rate of communication events, both normal ones and special ones.

yes, its because your account isn't verified

there are several ways to verify , and for now all of them requires you to either be in japan or have a friend in japan because you need a japanese phone number

we used to be able to get verified outside of japan but that requires purchase of a japanese sim card
however that option is no longer available because of something softbank did
