Thanks for the detailed explanation! Is there a list of which SRs belong to which category? I am specifically looking for SR Kamiya Nao haha.

Nao is a permanent SR. I don't know of a comprehensive list, but the price usually gives away what type it is. Here's a rough guide:
Event SRs are usually very cheap; about 3-20 stams at most
Event Ranking SRs usually hit 500-1000 stams
High end permanent SRs hit around 200-300
Mid-range permanent SRs are around 50-150
Low end Permanent SRs are around 10-20
Invitational SRs are around 50-100
Limited Gatcha SRs are around 250-350
However, don't expect to be able to hit an SR from the paid gatchas. You're better off buying/saving the stams necessary to trade for one.

I'm having a strange problem right now, and I want to ask whether you guys have it, or had it, and how to fix it.
When playing Im@s CG, the normal japanese within the website itself displays perfectly fine and legible, however the moment it goes into one of those event screens (battling, leveling, max affection, etc.), the japanese won't display properly, and instead becomes boxes and all these other random symbols. I've tried changing my text encoding but it still doesn't help. For the record, my phone is the Samsung Galaxy S3 and i'm just using the default browser that came with it.

Thanks for the advice! Looks like stams are the unofficial currency in the imas_cg world lol.

afaik , no fix yet but management acknowledged the problem
so just bear with it for now
