I tried to join, but my phone started acting up and I got lost. I scanned the QR code that was on the page. I really want to play...all of the idols look so cute! The game is compatible with Android phones too, right?

I didn't think it was available for smartphones at first, so this kinda surprised me. I wonder why I didn't look at the games catalog harder, though, it was a few clicks away this whole time. -_-;

Though going through the site, as long as you have a good browser and a mobage account, I think you should be good, it seems totally browser based. So, don't worry, if your Android has a browser, it can play it. If you have something else, you're probably still good.

It's a browser game, and it doesn't seem like IP ban is in effect. Also, you only need a mobage account, and that's most of the authentication that happens. So, the answer is yes.

The only thing is you are not able to do is the phone verification, because you will need a Japanese phone number for that. A phone verified account can purchase DLC items, and obtain special gifts from events.

But overall you could still play the game and access to most contents without phone verification.

You are able to participate the Christmas event without having your account verified. However, some gifts from the event need a verified account to obtain...

But yes, all you need is a smartphone to play the game.

Yeah, the way most sites do this is pretty standard.

Basically, when your browser requests access to a site, it sends a string along with the request telling the server what it is. What browser you're using, what type of device you're using, and all that. So, say I'm using Chrome on my PC. Chrome will send off a bunch of plaintext saying that the browser I'm using is Chrome, and that I'm running Windows. If I were on an Android phone, it would say I was using an Android to access the site. We call these strings user agents, and they're actually made to be human-readable. There are actually quite a few of these floating around, but they usually share the same form. Google for user agent or something, there's more information about this online for those of you so inclined. Unfortunately, this places the burden of making websites for multiple devices and browsers square on the shoulders of the webmaster. Blech.

EDIT:Hrm.
I've been trying it on my Ipod and it seems to take me to the proper browser but it keeps saying my email and/or password is incorrect so I can't actually confirm anything 8I
