Idolmaster Cinderella Girls

From what I heard of the samples this batch, and from the CDs that are already out, I don't actually outright hate any of the songs; I actually like them all. Some just stick out more than others, and that could already be from earlier bias anyways. 

Aside from the songs, did anyone listen to the "Mezase! Cinderella No. 1" tracks? I actually really like Kaede's personality. Plus it's really refreshing to have another older idol around (I hope they make CDs for a couple of the older idols, in the coming batch(es)). I don't have Anzu or Rika's CDs yet, so I haven't gotten a chance to listen to theirs.

I wish those drama tracks had a translation. I don't listen to dramas at all (on account of me not knowing Japanese lol), but I'd make an exception for the Cinderella Girls since that's the only source for the bulk of their personalities and stuff. Are there translations out there for the first set of drama tracks?

In terms of older idols, Mizuki Kawashima's 28 and fairly popular, though I'm not entirely sure how much of it is just memetic popularity.

She seems pretty relatable to me in that her idol motivation partly has to do with her feeling that life is zipping past her, and wanting to do something fun and out of her comfort zone before hitting 30. She's probably got the best shot at a CD among the 24+ crowd

I'd admit, Ranko's swimwear's sexy, though I question the practicality.
Poor Eve. Last time, she was wearing a box. Now, a bunch of seaweed? (Also, Eve on summer makes some sense, as it's the opposite to winter.)

I like how Chika's magical girl theme stays constant.
I really like Seira's cards here. It's kinda majestic. Then again, I am biased over her. lol
Shiori's good. She has a mature look in her clothes.

Same. I will not call it a step down, but the second batch is just different and likable in their own way. And yeah, I just like some of the songs more than the others.

Man, I'm kinda anxious on Kirari's song now.

With how popular Shizuku has been since she appeared, I get the feeling she's going to get a CD in the next set. (Of course, I'm still boggled at how completely impossible her measurements are, but I'm sure that's her appeal.) I'm also hoping for Yui, but I'm sure there are more popular choices, like Nina or Natalia. Or I can be hopeful and say they'll fill their obligation to Mio. I'm pretty sure Sachiko will be in it, too, considering she's up there with Ranko in terms of popularity, it seems. Of course, Miho could also be a contender for the Cute spot... Leaves two Cool spots, which I'd bet money on being Nao and Riina.

Finally got Sana. 1/9, and she got away from me past the six hour limit about 4-5 times.

I finished the third area before I went back for her, so I guess I'm off to pick on the Encore Stage special idols.

Hm, 2 Passion, 2 Cool and 1 Cute... I guess I'll post a prediction list of idols I want t get CDs.

Cool - Chiaki, Riina, or Yukimi.
Passion - Yui or Akane. I don't feel I have to mention Mio.
Cute - CHIERI! Or Kyoko.

Miho also has a good chance to get the Cute spot. But I think my list would make a great wave.

... Oh. The new S-Rares are made with matching costumes. They didn't do that last round. I like it, actually. It also shows us their image colors. (Which I find somewhat hard to figure out, at times, since I almost always default to the main color of their type; AKA blue, orange/yellow, or pink. Mika's hot pink makes sense, I like Miku in red... And Kirari can't decide. XD I also like how she has all the others in her hair.

Specific commentary:

Ranko's hairstyle is really cute on her. Not that I want to see it again, necessarily, but it's a refreshing change.

Um... Miku... You're 15. Stop that.

Kirari! You're so cute~ But extremely colorful. I can't tell what they were going for with her hair. Are those macaroons...? The chibi faces are cute, though.

Well... Mika, that's an interesting pose, but nothing sticks out in your card to me, other than that the art is significantly better than the upgrade to your original card.

Uzuki! I'm biased towards her, but she's ADORABLE here! Also, it's nice to see a new stage outfit for her. Not that the CGirls have many stage outfits in general, individually at least, but it's nice. That's a nice hat, too, if I could see it better. (How does it stay on her head, if it's all the way back there...?)

Seems they tried making matching outfits for the CD batch. IMO, they shouldn't have done that- while I like the effort, it made them focus less on their visual strengths. My top here has to be Kirari. Have your friends as hair decks!
