The iDOLM@STER Anime Ep: 07 discussion

I've just seen it. I think I understood despite the language barrier. It may be my Yayoi bias talking but I like the episode and I'm glad I saw this before anything else.

I feel like hugging her. Well, I always do, but I feel like hugging her more tightly now. XD

Nonowa made two appearances here. Fandom, you are noticed, and at least we know they're listening. XD

Alright. Discuss.

Well. For me personally I thought it was kind of a boring episode this week. I don't want to offend any Yayoi fans here but to be honest i'm not a fan of Yayoi at all and from my perspective nothing interesting really happened in this episode.

It was cute I guess but if I was looking for some cuteness I would go to Yukiho for it who happens to be the cutest idol of them all. XD

Well, that's pretty much all I have to say about this episode. To be honest this isn't exactly the kind of episode I would go back to and watch again.

Overall I give this a 6/10.

Nonowa being in the episode honestly made my day. While I know that there's a lot of fan-connected stuff, I can't say I expected to see Nonowa at all.

I really liked Iori and Hibiki's interactions with the kids, it was really amusing to watch. I was a bit worried in the latter half and I felt really bad for both Yayoi and Chosuke. Yayoi's got it tough and I like that they did touch on it in an enjoyable fashion in the show. :> Also have to say while expected, I was pleased to hear Kiramekirari; definitely one of my favorite songs (and Iori and Hibiki doing pieces of the dance during the montage was really cute).

This episode has given me a heluva lot more respect for Yayoi. Also makes me very glad that I don't have to take care of younger siblings ~w~

Also, Chousuke looks like Renton from Eureka 7.

I was too distracted by Nonowa to pay attention to the rest of the episode.

Just watched it. Since I love Yayoin this was great!
Also I thought the animation for kiramekirari was cute.

I want that picture of Iori as "the grudge" as my avatar on other sites.

Of the 7 episodes, this has to be my favorite episode so far.

Although probably bias as well since Yayoi and Iori are my favorites.  I don't have a single complaint, although I can imagine this episode might not be everyone's cup of beans.   Although I do think the episode had a good format in that the producer wasn't being jammed down your throat like he usually is.  I mean last episode was so annoying with the I MUST SUCCEED schtick, I was almost done with the anime, but this episode brought me back.  It was nice to see an episode where he was removed for most of it so the idols were the main focus.  I'm hoping there will be a couple more episodes in this format since a lot of the idol's backgrounds are still vague in the anime.

I don't understand why anyone would watch something they can't understand...

Patience!

Anyways, what a brilliant episode. Now I don't have to go comparing every other one to Ep2. Everything just flowed seamlessly, except for the little montage in the middle, which, I kinda wanted to be longer in duration. I guess I was enjoying it. Yayoi has a special place in my heart, since she was my first idol to produce, and after this episode, I can't imagine anyone not like Yayoi more than ever before. We see so many different sides to her than her usual bright and energetic mood. It was just great seeing her operate outside the office and her work life. Not only that, but the episode also dipped its toes into Iori's story as well, which is a plus.

This episode gets an A. For Adorable Yayoi.

Kasumi really needs her own episode, and probably a spinoff with Chosuke as the protagonist too.
Despite not having any plot advancement, this is currently my favourite episode.

I won't mind more episodes like this, the plot can develop in the second season.

[edit]
Also I said this on Twitter, but Chosuke reminded me of Renton. A lot.
