Just watched the episode. It was alright, but not really the best episode. I was pretty happy to see Eri make her appearance though so I can't complain. XD

There is one complaint I have about this anime though. Is it just me or is Iori, Makoto, and Miki getting way too much screentime while Yukiho, Takane, and Haruka have been getting little to no screentime? I know it may sound biased as a Yukiho fan but I think she along with Haruka and Takane need more screentime than what they have been getting. Sorry but that's just my opinion. I'm hoping for the next few episodes they get more screentime so the non im@s fans can learn more about them.

I kind of agree as well that it was way too early for Jupiter to make an appearance yet. It makes me kind of wonder where they are truly going with this anime storywise.

Episode 3 is a humble masterpiece in comparison.

To me the pacing of the anime has been pretty crappy across the board.  Some episodes they've done an okay job doing some back-story for the characters, while other characters you still know nothing about.  I would have thought they'd have some serious event by now to tie up the first 9 episodes.  Or at least do SOMETHING to explain or cultivate the first 9 episodes into a plot.  Instead it seems like 9 episodes of filler to reach what?  The start of this?  I think it's waaaaaay too early to start anything Project Jupiter related.  Also 876 appearance makes no sense at all in this anime.  Worst episode ever in that they're still doing filler plots while trying to introduce a new story arch.

I don't think this episode is really the beginning of the longer story arc; this episode is just a set-up for the longer story arc. Episodes 11-13 should feature the "serious" even you're asking for. And I really don't think episodes 8-9 were exactly filler; they were just comedy episodes that were also used to show how Ryuugu Komachi was growing more and more popular. In episode 7, Iori was unknown by the TV show host. In episode 8 the RK plot was just a passing comment, sure, but it was said that their popularity increased. Episode 9 made RK integral to its story, with them getting drama appearances and radio appearances and giving Mami a motivation. I think, though, that girls not called Iori, Makoto, Miki, Yayoi, Ami or Mami are being rather neglected in the show. Mainly Haruka and Takane. The preview seemed to hint at them playing a bigger role next week, so hopefully they will finally step into the spotlight.

I have no problems with how this is going along. I love seeing the characters bounce off each other and going in and out of specific characters.

Plot would be (and, presumably, will be) great, but I'm fine with how things are going and I loved the episode (massive bias for 876 aside oh god please spend more time in the animu 876 my day was made.)

The latter may be a long shot, since the Producer's supposed to be [you]. ^^;

Anyway, after seeing #10, I'm inclined to believe that we have another continuity in the iM@S universe, with 876's introduction (I believe we don't meet them until somewhere after the IA) and Jupiter's 'official' arrival before Touma beats RK (if ever that's gonna happen). This move actually makes me more interested in the following episodes. Also, I'm guessing Namco is aiming for the anime to be a sleeper hit for the non-fanbase now.

Since they changed this part of the story, it would mean that the ending would be an alternative ending. A totally different ending from the game.

I'm also interested how it'll go from there, maybe this time R.K. is going to be defeated by Jupiter and not by Touma himself. But, who knows?

I think the anime ending won't be the same as the game, and if next episode is the Jupiter/RK battle, RK will lose. That adds ~tension~ and it might even lead to some kind of mini Ritsuko episode or something who i don't think will be getting an episode of her own.

Ritsuko will become an idol (again).
Something bad will happen to the producer.
There might possibly be a ship tease between 961 and 765.
We will eventually get to see Kuroi's face.
