I have no problems with how this is going along. I love seeing the characters bounce off each other and going in and out of specific characters.
Plot would be (and, presumably, will be) great, but I'm fine with how things are going and I loved the episode (massive bias for 876 aside oh god please spend more time in the animu 876 my day was made.)

The anime needs more Takane and Haruka now.

I bet there's going to be some of that in the next episode...(We only have Haruka, Miki, Makoto, Hibiki, Takane and Ritsuko who didn't have their own episode yet.)
