I enjoyed it. It makes me love Azumi even more. Yeah, Yukiho being scared of men was over the top (I don't even think she was this scary in the games) but, it's an anime/cartoon, not Game of Thrones or something. Things are suppose to be over the top.

I give it an 8/10. Can't wait for next weeks episode.

P.S. I need an Azumi version of ALRIGHT and First Stage in my life right now.

This was fun to watch. Yukiho had... quite a big reaction, but it's still fun, I particularly liked the ones when the shovel came out from... well, wherever that comes from. As for how Asakura is doing, she's doing... well, not terrible, but not my favorite either.

Still, I give it a 7/10. From the looks of the preview, it's a cooking contest, but... maybe it's a Chihaya episode next week?

Actually, no. Not all things like these have to be over the top. In fact, anyone who doesn't know the game franchise will quickly turn away.

I really hate how extreme the characters quirks are in the anime. As much as she annoys me, Yukiho wasn't that afraid of men/dogs, Miki wasn't that lazy, and, as much as I hate Tsunderes, Iori was not that smug/bratty in the game.

What? Iori was a lot more bratty and straightforwardly tsundere in the game; they actually toned down her attitude A LOT for the anime.

while I can agree the way they portrayed Yukiho's fear of guys was over the top and probably would have been okay if they hadn't blow it up to such proportions, it works for the episode and that's fine by me. I also really liked the bit about the producer feeling connected to Yukiho about not being good with dogs, it was cute. :> And like always, the shovel gets a little laugh out of me.

and while everyone seems to be whining about azumin, I don't really mind it. While I do like the whispery Yukiho, I can still enjoy the non-whisper Yukiho. Her speaking voice isn't that much off, it's really only noticeable when she sings. *shrugs* I'll just go on thinking Yukiho got a little more confident in the iMAS1->2 time gap that she doesn't have the wispy sound as much anymore.

I liked the episode, even though Yukiho kiiiind of got on my nerves by the end~

I dislike that the producer got more of a backstory with the dog-fear than Yukiho did. :/

I'm guessing they automatically assume anyone watching for srs knows how and why she's afraid of men and dogs. It's the whole "Made for fans, everyone else is a bystander - go by the game to find out, bystanders." thing.

I'm sure they will go into Yukiho's backstory and the whole deal with her dad later in the show; they can't finish Yukiho's story when there are more than 20 episodes left.

This episode was, by far, the worst episode to me so far. I've never really been that much of a fan of Yukiho's personality in the games, and to have an episode centered on her where they took the whole fear of men and dogs thing way over the top... Yeah. Not really my cup of tea. I like her singing voice, just not really into the whole whining about various things aspect of her.

I'm enjoying the anime overall though. I'm curious where this show is going to go.

I'm gonna guess how will Jupiter meet 765Pro...

After 765Pro won, *spouts some friendship/romance between those two and the other idols*
