I bet they're just really minor bugs the developers caught. Nothing game breaking.
Unlike Sony they don't document. That is a terrible strategy.

They only appear on the stages we mentioned. Those stages are beach live and side sunny/side beach. I have the most recent updates to my knowledge and I have never touched my game options.
If they don't show up for you they could have been appended in the update which would explain why earlier videos that claim to be the ps3 version do not show those shadows.

It's just like using "My song" for the festival... can't imagine how bad that would be considering the slowest BPM (at least in Idolmaster 2), thus fewer amount of appeals.

(whole series wise, 9:02pm is the slowest song, I think...)

I personally think Ryo will be released with the Cosmic and Funny outfit and not the Cool and Sexy (or whatever it is called), simply because I keep seeing him wearing it.
I'll probably buy both him and Eri anyway so I don't really mind.

As for the songs, am I the only who is actually NOT hoping for "Kyun! Vampire Girl"? As much as I like the song, I'd rather hear either some new songs, or old songs from the first Im@s on Xbox (Watashi wa Idol, please? Can I even dream?). Oh and "Yakusoku" is a beautiful song, but I'm not sure how it would turns out in Im@s 2...I mean it would be nice to hear our favorite idols performing it, but I can't see any matching choregraphy that does not involve a standing person with a mic. In any case, I'm really excited to see the new extend outfit! It's always what I'm the most excited about :3

With CHANGE, Yakusoku and that Dokodemo, we'll probably have quite a bit of anime songs lined up, probably released around the same time with the G4U packs + anime.

I actually want Ryo to come with a Yumeko outfit...

We might have a chance at an old song if they continue with double releases, or Eri might be released with with Omoide wo Arigatou or Mahou wo Kakete, unless they're giving her a new song (going by her CD releases).

(To be honest, I wish they did slow songs in cut time, so they could be usable for festivals...)

Yeah I'm hoping for old songs as well like Ohayou Asagohan!, Mahou wo Kakete, Watashi wa Idol, CHANGE! and/or Itsumademo, Dokomademo.

Or if NBGI I really wanted (Which I highly doubt), Ready&Change Special Edition LOL
