Curious to see if Ai functions like Miku, solo only, or if she can be in a unit with 765 Pro idols. She's able to sing Go My Way, and presumably the other songs that were in Dearly Stars at least.
Well, now I'm permitted to talk more about it (I hate having to keep my powder dry) I'm permitted to talk more about it (and at least provide speculation about some aspects)
Basically, although Ai can WEAR 765 costumes, she can't participate with the other idols. She resides in the 'Guest section'.
The others are coming (Is it not obvious?) and they're showing up for a very specific reason. The only hint I got (more verbal sparring) is to watch the end of the anime, which I imagine he means that it opens to something else.
From my understanding, as the others come, there will be a specific reason to own the others. I cannot confirm it though, since last I heard, it was being debated, but it seems unlikely they won't add that extra reason, at least if the clues I've pieced together are correct.
What bothers me is the timing - I'm not sure if they shelved the Jupiter extension, or if they're saving it for later, because I thought they were going to do that before 876. Then again...
The song choice was more or less expected (Although anyone who's spoken with me with any length probably recalls me mentioning there being a promotional deal for the Anime, and how there's a plan that's explicitly executed. Basically, expect at least three more Anime songs, although I understand the deal's until the end of the BR release. Which order? THAT, I can't tell you.
As for other cameos, Macross is an option (although when, well, is another story. I have to check if there's a Macross release coming up) and I know there's at least one more Diva release (I thinking to coincide with 3DS' release). I also understand there was a negociation for a new one, but not sure how that one's going.
Don't make any mistake, this is a planned and executed proceedure and has been on the cards for about 12 months. Closer to 18 now I think about it, but my sense of time is always a bit lousy.
Anyway, there's enough speculation for you to play hunting with. I don't think I've said anything too obvious, or at least obvious enough to get me, or the people I talk with, in too much trouble.
