Aah!  I would so play this.  Would not be hard to add it in as an extra mode to the next release of the game, lol.

That's hilarious.  I've said before that I think the calls are loud and annoying, but if you turn it into a game where I have to pefect combo it, then yes, sure.  :P

This is the best m@d ever. Well, it's one of my new top favorites

NBGI, Please make this reality.

I wish this was an option for when you have to watch their encores.

Wait a second, I fail hard.  (so embarrassed)

So that's actually the L4U engine?  I had totally forgotten how that game was played.  So all the m@d author did was write a Jibun REST@RT version for the game.

...I had thought the entire video was made up.  >_>;;;

So maybe that means I should hope for a L4U release on the PS3...  Since that rhythm game is a little more difficult than imas2's game.  (I started playing imas SP over the weekend, and the lesson mode is way harder than imas2 -- which can be a good thing.)

That's okay. I was hoping L4U was S4U when I first heard about it in idolm@ster 2.

It's not the real im@s L4U engine - the scoring multiplier for the notes increases too low for that (there's a +50 chain combo note bonus every time you clear 50). (It mimics it more or less correctly, but that number of notes should have a higher score than that)

It's just a nice little composite trick. He's known to do several others, including a nice little im@s x happy dance collection one I'd like to see too.

Hmm, I have an amulet question. I managed to grab Niku-Wan, Rinkamo, and Awanko, as well as Sugamo and the secret amulet, Mushaharu (that took a lot of retries to get...)

Anyway, I know the first three slowdown the drain rate of two stats, so I'm thinking: should I use them when I'm in an audition? The drain slowdown might score more points, leading to a better score. Or should I stick to using Mushaharu?

Also, Sugamo is pretty awesome at festivals. Nothing like stopping their Voltage meter outright.

Also, getting a quintet is hard...I want to unlock Ryuuguu Komachi's outfit, and I have Ritsuko available for a quintet. I'm thinking I should pick a quintet-available song instead of relying on lives and picking the song.

In the early game, when your danketsu is low, burst scores are pretty terrible and may be worse than general appeals.  So definitely stick to slow drain rates then.  I personally like using Shirakawa Yui & Geroonsen in the early game.  All three appeals' drain rate becomes 0.01 per press.  Voltage doesn't fill at all, but I don't need it at all in that stage of the game.

When you're farther along and bursts give you super points, then Mushaharu all the way.

Quintet lives are clearly marked on the schedule screen, right?  o.o  They're the ones with a '5' on the icon.  You perform your normal song as a trio, and then two more people join you for the quintet, and you get to choose from the quintet songs at that point.  So it's an encore performance.  You don't need to be producing a quintet song with your main unit.

Ah, thanks for the help, Crisu. Should read the screen beforehand.

Going from left to right on the tabs, it should be the fifth tab.

On the map, it is the same location as Lucky Rabbit, the basic lessons, and the Rest option.

You know, I was going through some magazines at my brick and mortar electronics store over here to kill some time, and I noticed the most peculiar thing in this month's issue of EGM. From memory...

Microsoft has revised their game approval process for the XBox 360 and XBLA. The article said that, in the event that a game is planned to be released on multiple systems, they must be released simultaneously. Further, the game's features and its DLC (including its DLC schedule for future releases), must be identical in content to the other non-MS system releases. If these two conditions are not met, then Microsoft has the right to refuse to... approve the game or something.

I read this and immediately thought of the whole Im@s PS3 release, and laughed. I'm not too sure if there's anything else in Japan helping the XBox...

Ouch... you think it was IM@S that touched that policy change off, or a cumulative effect from a bunch of games? (though Namco Bandai has pulled this stunt repeatedly).

Would be funny if they had a little informative Kotori icon with speech bubble next to the announcement.
