Well. Before I decide to export this game from Japan I just have a quick question. Is the game region free because I don't want to export it and not be able to play it because of some region lock. Though i'm pretty sure it's region free, I just want to make sure first.

It is region free ; I have just tested it on my American ps3, American session on top of that and it works perfectly!

The Japan only thing simply means it's for only allowed for sale in Japan. ;D

Are you talking about a piece of film strip?  Was it a preorder bonus?  I didn't think they would pack those into a regular release.  But that does explain the film strip I saw on someone else's blog... it's a picture of... the credits.   ???

edit: Wait a minute, you got it really fast.  Did you use some sort of Express shipping?

Yesasia is a little bit slow acquiring items that haven't yet been released... I don't think they get them before the release date.  But since I don't live in Asia, I don't have many options.

Yes, that's what I'm talking about!
It's cute, I just can't find any use to it xD And yeah, it was probably a preorder gift, as I ordered the regular version only.

Well I chose the Fedex option, which costs like 15$ and, I don't know if it's because I live in Canada, but I have to pay another 25$ when I get my copy delivered at home. So that's about 40$ more, but it's worth it. I was actually supposed to get it yesterday, but they had some problems at the customs office.

When cels were still being used in anime production, if you got your hands on a cel, you literally owned a piece of the anime.  They're no longer necessary, but the tradition lives on in cel reproductions and those film strips, I guess.  One of the things they probably imitated is the uniqueness of the strips, which makes some of them highly desirable (for example, that shot of Yuki Nagato's collarbones in the Haruhi movie).  Looks like you lucked out and got one that matches your style.

Which shop did you order from?  I want one. *o*

I ordered mine from Play Asia.
It was my first time buying anything there and I was highly satisfied with their service! (I feel like I'm advertising, sorry about that D:) But yeah, that's where I got it from.

Advertising never hurts XD

I'm not sure if most stores do this or not, but that's something I like about Play-Asia; if they have leftovers of the preorder bonuses, they'll send them to you even if you didn't preorder it (until they run out, anyway).
