They're awesome, right?

I have been playing the demo again and again, and even changed my minds about some characters...Yes, I actually changed my main team.
I still love you Mami! It's not my fault ; I got a thing for pigtails ;A;
Also, most of you already know that, but Chihaya is so cute. I played the scenario where she had to play in a Musical, and her insecurity was adorable <3

With the dancing/visual lessons, I wish we could do auditions.
I mean, they look fun!
Oh and, I beat the Fujisan Rock pretty easily, after all. I didn't even let Ryuugu Komachi burst a single time! c: *Proud*
While being a fangirl of Touma, MissDeidara really enjoys beating this latter in Fes.

Huh. I don't think the forum has been this riled up about a new song since Little Match Girl, when we heard half the song and wanted to hear the rest of it. XD I mean, there was that big Kyun! Vampire Girl outbreak when it came out, but the hype leading up to it wasn't near as big.

Hey, I ended up serving about 3/4 of the requests for Kyun! Vampire Girl, and boy outbreak does not begin to describe it.

And I think NGBI's decision to not include it free on im@s PS3 probably is going to be interesting - twice the sales, and stuff.

Chihaya is so wonderful! I love her!

I tried this as my second trial but at first I didn't understand how the audition system worked at first (I was really off beat) so I failed.
Got it my second time! I really like how the drill looks in this game! <3

I was laughing really hard because I had Hibiki and Azusa as my backups and Azusa looked purely vampirishly white compared to Hibiki. (Might have something to do with the snowy atmopshere too)

I can't play the demo, since I don't have a PS3 yet T_T but I pre-ordered my copy! I went with the Japan version, just in case I feel like spending money on DLC. (I think I'd only do it for songs).

Now I have about 3 weeks to find myself a PS3. Preferably one with less gigs, since I won't be playing all that much on it.

Also, question, even though I think I know the answer. This pretty much goes for any im@s game, but do your idols HAVE to wear the same style of outfit in the same colors? For example, say I wanted to put Takane in the "Morpho Hydrangea" Floral outfit (Costume 01-08 in the compendium), but have Yukiho and Makoto wear it as "Dahlia Noir" (Costume 01-04). Or can they even go on stage wearing completely different costume sets? I've never seen a video that did, so I assume it's not possible... T_T

EDIT: post went weird the first time, sorries >_<

They all have to wear the same thing. Accessories and costumes. Sorry.

M@d creators love to play with this idea by editing their videos so idols wear different accessories and outfits.

That would be pretty great. I mean, I doubt we could do something like that in story mode because of the stats but in S4U! that would be awesome.

I suppose you're right, but I will say this: the excitement leading to it's release wasn't as much as LMG got, nor as much as Nanairo Button is getting.

IMO, I think the PS3 version looks better by a smidgen. I can't really notice a difference.

I'm not a graphics guru/master/expert, but given that the base graphics look the same, can't that stuff be fixed with a slight adjustment to your TV's settings? ???

I'm all for the 360 having -some- advantage over the PS3 version, but it seems like that's easily adjusted XD

Things I'm having trouble imagining:
If this is a raw shot, how come there are graphical artefacts sitting around, especially around edges? These are bmps, but something makes me wonder if they weren't compressed or processed somehow before being saved as raw RGB data...
Second, hitting up the exact color of the white text... the XBox 360 shot comes back as white. The PS3 shot comes back as a shade of grey. The PS3 can definitely throw out pure white to a TV screen, so what's with this?

I'm more interested in how those shots were taken, and under what conditions they were. You got the same background graphic, for crying out loud, and you don't even have to process it... why is it darker?

Personally, I wouldn't trust these images as far as brightness/contrast goes. Unfortunately, I can't really do my own comparisons since I'm running things through a VGA box (too cheap for TVs) and everything comes out blurry on that... but I encourage everyone that's interested and has access to not-cheap equipment, both systems, and Im@s 2 to run their own test. If you got a monitor/TV with two HDMI inputs, just switch back and forth between them.

Yes. I don't really think whoever did this is approaching this the right way.
Besides...the graphical difference seems to be less than what people can percieve is different.
So I don't really think it matters.
