Well, the preliminary price list has been released - I can finally talk about it (even though I've had it sit on my table for about a month and a half) and note that to complete the catalog (which is, missing some of the traditional content (I think standard assessories?) because of the Miku guest content) you'll need about 7000 yen.

http://andriasang.com/comyfz/

... Which is about the cost of the game again. (Just under, if I recall correctly the game itself is 7980 yen on RRP)

(This doesn't include the mails of course, or the DLC money)

I hope you've all been saving up if you're serious...

EDIT: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qt95eP0oVZ4

This gets me even more excited for the ps3 release!
The recolors are not that appealing, but that sailor swimsuit and Miku outfit...Auuu~!
Between, are the horns only a gift you get when you buy the whole catalog? I don't want to buy the whole catalog, but I really want them...They remind me of Catherine (The game) ;__; Plus, Yukiho looks super cute with it!

Also, I wasn't expecting a new song (Or maybe I had just forgot) so I was really happy!
It's nice, because it's soft, a little bit like "Shiny Smile". That's exactly the type of song I was hoping for!
Thank you for sharing.

How unfortunate it is to be an Idolm@ster fan and dirt poor.

"To be" would apply to "Idolm@ster fan" and "dirt poor" in my sentence. Your correction is grammatically correct too, but for me it's also redundant, hence why I only used it once before the two subjects like that.

Basically it's "He is mean and selfish" versus "He is mean and he is selfish". They mean the same thing even though the second one is more redundant.

At least I think. Pretty sure I learned that the way I worded the sentence was still correct, but there's a good chance I'm wrong I guess.

And to think I was expecting a joke about how all im@s fans are dirt poor and therefore the 'dirt poor' is a redundant term in itself.

</bad joke>

I wonder how sales will be for the ps3 version...
will it be a huge success (like I think they are depending on) or turn out exactly like xbox360 (on the discount rack)...

No doubt that Miku is another way to get this game to sell better.

Agreed.
I wonder if this will persuade Vocaloid fans who don't know a thing about Idolm@ster to buy the game. It would kind of pisses me off, but at the same time, I guess that way more people would enjoy the game, which is good. Anyway, MMD users almost all know about Idolm@ster now, so...

I say most of them will just stick with Dreamy Theater =p
(Gonna leave before getting off-topic)

Yes! Don't be a hipster!
As long as more people can enjoy the game that'd be nice.
Just as long as m@ds keep their quality. To be honest I'm sick of anim@s.

To be honest though, idolm@ster isn't as easy to play as Project Diva.
Not that Project Diva is easy...it just has easy UI.

Hnnnnng, that starry recolor makes me think of the northern lights I love it.
And that checkered uniform in so pretty~

Okay, so I guess I should get this out of the way. We need to use japanese PSN cards for this stuff, right? Any one got a good place to buy those?

Play~asia sells just the codes (no shipping required).
Ebay too. Lots of places! Anywhere you can go that does not require the card to be shipped.

When did this start and does it also apply to MSP?
