G4U won't be in the regular version cause it's the only real reason why anyone'd want to buy the LE even if they don't want the anime ep 1-2 CLE BD set.
Seriously, the game's LE is just a repackaging of the game with reversable cover and the CLE aniM@S 1st BD and you'd be getting G4U, game OST, some images and the i-GRA magazine for 4k extra.

Also again, what's wrong with amiami?

I was ordering stuff from play-asia/yes-asia (can't remember which) long before I heard of amiami, and I haven't gotten their English ordering page to work yet.  The free shipping option works for me since I'm usually not in a rush.  I may try amiami again the next time I feel like ordering something.

I guess I'll have to miss out on G4U.  I don't feel like fighting the masses for a limited edition.  Maybe people will share their images/videos?  ^^;

I was always ordering via Yesasia and will do... because you don't need to pay extra for the shipping. I don't touch other Online shops, only if I want something special...

And for IM@S2: I can live with the Normal Edition... Don't need all that fancy stuff like G4U or the Anime in BD :3 Well... it would be sad for the OST but it doesn't matter.

currently (re-)playing: Haruka naru Toki no Naka de 5 (PSP), Jyuuza Engi (PSP)

When the time comes it's highly likely I'll be using AmiAmi. I've ordered from it before with no problem whatsoever yet Play-Asia has epically cocked up the first and only thing I've ordered from it, to the point I think I might aswell have put that £50 down the drain.

Looks like I'll have to wait and see the price for the LE then, because I was really intent on getting G4U, at the very least for being an extension of iM@S that I can fully enjoy without needing a full translation.

Also so I can get a saucy Makoto wallpaper for my PS3 =3

You know, they advertised G4U to use on your PS3 wallpaper, and it extended out to computers and etc. etc.

Couldn't you just download one uploaded by someone else and put it on your PS3? I mean...my PS3 was primarily used by my brother and since he moved out it (more or less) collects dust so I don't know all its ins and outs, but you can use external pictures for wallpaper on a PSP for sure...

like, if you can upload pictures from G4U, I'm sure someone's going to upload a ton of them, and then everyone has free G4U wallpapers except the guy who uploaded 'em...

then again, I could be taking it too lightly XDD

It'd be awesome if you could do the same thing for in game screenshots/videos you save.

I bet they will do it for the screenshots (a la Project Diva?), though I'm not sure about the videos. I think when you save replays, it just saves the idol info/voice data, costume, accessory, and camera movements -- that is, not all of them compressed into a video. I think. So in actuality, you can't export your replays directly as videos because they -aren't- videos, but the elements of said specific video set to re-play.

The PV already showed us that images taken are saved as jpgs(?), most probably@1280x720p, and saved on the PS3's HDD. Transfering and resizing should be easy enough.

As long as you save them to the PS3, the images will show up under the photos xmb section in a folder and you can select to use it as a background from there like on the PSP. I haven't done it in a while on either of the two, but I'm pretty sure that's the basic gist of how you do it.

G4U might also do what PJD does where it makes a folder for itself in the photos section and you can just grab them from there. But yeah, you can easily get the image file onto another ps3 and use it as a background.

@The play asia vs. amiami topic: Amiami never works for me. I always have to convert the price, it has issues with my money and is just a pain i nthe fucking ass for me. I prefer play asia because simple is nice.

I'd be more wondering if someone was trying to push one over the other that the party is being paid to do so - but then again I'm used to that sort of thing. Granted I've also dealt with all sorts of technological evangelists in my line of work and I tend to find that that it's always somewhere inbetween, so take that statement as you will.

People will take a company they trust and/or done business with before, because of the fact that they're familiar with it. Convienence, familiarity, trust and ease of use are things people will pay money for - cheapest price isn't always the final factor.

Granted, I'm not taking any of the methods, since I've a different route to take (with a few signatures too), but that's the perks of being in the naturally nosy industry.

I suppose your right, there.
In hindsight, i guess the msot important thing is that the fans get the game, no matter where you buy it.

@ the Play Asia vs Amiami thing
My problem with Play Asia is that I ordered the game on my birthday (May 9th) and it never showed up so I asked for a refund around the middle of July and they have still not given the money back. I am not sure if it was supposed to take that long, maybe I'm just impatient.

I am not sure if Amiami is any better but I am willing to try.

I hope that I can order this, looks awesome.
