First, install Javie, then install nukIM@S-3 as described in the video.
Off the top of my head, I'd bet this mainly operates on some sort of edge detection algorithm. Which one, well couldn't say unless I delved into the code, then read up on various edge detection algorithms (would not take me a short amount of time).
Also, keep in mind this was like a 10 minute search for me, so there could be something else out there. I can't imagine there wouldn't be a commercial program out there somewhere that can do the same thing too. Maybe something by Adobe?

Just make a Japanese account and make your main account friend with it, then download the item with your Japanese account and your main one will have it automatically.
Or maybe not...But that's what I did and it worked!
Yay! That means I'll be able to buy plenty of im@s DLC after Christmas! 8D

Pointless step is pointless.
Every account on a system can use DLC associated with an account holding the rights to use said DLC if it's on the same system.
