Awww yeah, my copy arrived today, right before the federal holiday (with interruption in mail service).  Now I'm a lady too!  It's the end of the work week and I'm dead tired, so I may not play it right away.  I should at least make sure the disc works, and I expect I'll have to update my firmware.

Browser crashed a few days ago and ate my login cookies and the password reset is not sending me my password, so I'm using an alt account until I can get it fixed. -_-

I got a film strip!  I was losing heart because I ordered only a few days before the release and a random credit check held up my order, but I guess I got lucky.  It's a little smaller than I expected; it's hard to make out the details.  It was wrapped in silver foil and attached to the outside of the game with rubber bands.



afu.  Not quite as good as the closeups or napping shots, but I'm happy.  Now I need somewhere safe to put it where I won't crush it by accident. >.>

Interesting to hear what filmstrips folks received.  I've yet to come across a badly presented strip yet, so I imagine they paid attention to what was being put on these.  The four panels I have are of Azusa getting lost in the first episode.



It ends right as she starts to talk.  I remembered where it was from when I looked at it, and I was amused all over again.  I told myself I'd be quite pleased with a Yayoi, Iori, or Azusa... so happiness complete!

Yikes, I stand corrected.  I find it strange they'd include just any ol' scene.  Perhaps they printed the filmstrips from a finished source that went to broadcast?  Or well, probably the material that went into Blu-ray production.  If they used the source materials, I would imagine they would know exactly which cuts had no characters contained within them.  If that's the case there could be duplicate OP filmstrips out there, which would be interesting.

Either which way, all the thinking I've done on the subject comes down to assumption... so I'll just leave it at that.  The filmstrip may not be too exciting, but it's still nice to hold a part of the show in your fingers!

Yay! My copy finally arrived. At long last I can play this fantastic game. My unit is doing great so far. Makoto, Chihaya, and Takane seem to be getting along well.

I am praying for the catalogs with L.O.B.M., or Kyun! Vampire Girl.

I never bought any of the DLC on 360, and am trying my best to be patient for those to show up on PS3. XD

Considering the next anime soundtrack cd comes out around the end of the month, I think the next will be マリオネットの心.  If not this time, next time.  I can't imagine them not using it! 

I do hope the option to get some of the earlier DLC songs will be included at some point.  I'd love to pick up Colorful Days and I Want~

Optimistic a bit much?

For most part, Catalogs 1-3 X360 are included with the game (if you have to work on unlocking them) and 4-8 will be released staggered across the next five DLC releases. (And that is subject to change, as with any schedule.)

For the tl;dr crowd, the Xbox 360 and PS3 release contents will NOT match up anytime soon, or for at least the next six months. (It's not too long, I'm just repeating myself again.)

You're going to have to wait. It's a case of trying to make the purchases run over a longer period of time, to secure a cash flow, and that's how business works.
