Since TweenDoriru said something about it being possible to region lock PS3 games I decided to do some checking and found this.

My expectations have sunk. Since this is Namco Bandai I will not be surprised if they use this.

Tales of Graces f (another Namco game) came out in December, some time after that article and it WASN'T region locked. Unless they suddenly want to screw over importers now for some reason. And if Tales of Xillia (coming out this September) isn't region locked, then I'm confident Idolm@ster 2 will be fine.

Namco, please...Don't burst my bubble.
I guess it COULD be too beautiful to be true, after all. But wouldn't they make more money by not putting the region lock, anyway? If it's an attempt to recover the "failure" they had with the Xbox one then I don't see the point...But I'm probably missing something.
