Idolm@ster 2 on PS3

I should be able to get if if I save about $100 USD a month for the next 3 months, this one included....man I hope the region lock does not happen. That'd make me a sad panda with an expensive paper weight. But damn, what a paper weight! Been waiting to try one of these games for years, the only one I've actually gotten to try is Missing Moon for the PSP.

As for me, I'm probably going to wait it out for awhile after it's released and watch others test it out first, just in case there actually is a region-lock (although frankly, I doubt there will be.) Also because I'm not sure I'll have all the money by then OTL

I suppose I can live without G4U, especially if they're forcing heavily encouraging you to buy the BluRay discs just to be able to get new volumes of content.

Tell me about it. I'm a Shoko Nakagawa fan, and she releases a BluRay of almost every concert tour she does. Shokotan has been doing 2 concert tours a year for the past few years. -_- And I still gotta buy the Japanese Tangled BluRay since it has her on it, and the BluRay for Arietty (Studio Ghibli)... (/end off topic rant)

Anyway, interesting to hear there's going to be more new things for the PS3 game. Am I completely surprised? Not really. I hope they keep supporting the 360 version though. I don't care about Gravure 4 You really, but it would be nice if those extra songs/outfits came as DLC for 360.

For some reason, I feel a bit disappointed. I was expecting you could also use the Best Schoolmate uniform along with the gray one. Also, it'd be kind of nice if you could take pictures of them poolside or something.

For Blu-Ray prices in Japan, I think that could be standard price.

Yeah, that's pretty much standard price range for BluRays in Japan. The best place to import BluRays from Japan is Amazon JP (amazon.co.jp). They usually give a pretty decent discount off of the MSRP.

I totally approve of idolm@ster 2 for ps3 and also G4U but console exclusives are only a huge annoyance. Most of us already know how this feels after all...

I would've raged about G4U if I didn't all ready hate how they're handling it.  Packaging them separately with each BluRay and all is really annoying.

Making up for "lost" fundage? There's like 14,500MSP of DLC included in the PS3 game by default XD Not counting Little Match Girl (or READY!!) and assuming the 300MSP accessories are included, too.

what would that be for us on the bad side of the exchange rate? $60 per 3500MSP card...like $240? maybe add another 1400MSP card because my math sucks XD

...actually, G4U only comes with the limited edition, right? :| What am I counting for, they make up for DLC loss with every sale of the LE XD

However, the really fast announcement of the PS3 version could mean NBGI (or at least, the iM@S sector of things) is in trouble, so maybe they're trying to stay afloat by stealing our money offering bonuses with expensive things.

IMO: G4U isn't worth the money. Is it cute? yeah. But I'd probably get tired of it fast enough. But if this is your thing go right ahead b(=^=)b

If you have the right skills...(the ability to extract the models and pose them in another software) you can do this yourself for cheaper...

Of course there's the question of legality...
