Idolm@ster 2 on PS3

Nintendo dislikes novel type games in general, they've expressed this, and since the guy that made iM@S DS was sacked (because the game was poor and sold poorly), I doubt we'll ever see another iM@S game on their devices.

3DS simply doesn't have the power to produce something much better than iM@S SP, while the Vita has the potential to produce something like a lighter version of iDOLM@STER 2. Not that I would bother.

Really? Where? Because I swear games like LovePlus and Hotel Dusk made it to Nintendo consoles, and though Cing is defunct, LovePlus got a 3DS title, so yeah. And does Namco have to hire the same guy? *shrug*

Besides, with 8GB+ memory and it being out since a little more than a year, I doubt we've seen the power of the 3DS (Games that test the potential of console hardware don't come out until its 2nd or 3rd year). Not that I'm hoping. If that thing about Namco owing Sony for the anime is true, then we might not see it this year on anything other than PS3 or Vita. Then again, Namco pulls off a lot of moves the fans don't get, hence my neutrality on the subject.

Elixir:
Hm, how do I put this.

Nintendo dislikes moe garbage.

Loveplus is actually a dating sim, not really a novel after the first 100 days. The amount of novels on DS compared to PSP is night/day, I can only think of the Phoenix Wright series and that awful Silent Hill novel (because there's no way they could graphically handle that on a handheld) for GBA.

Saying that the 3DS can't produce graphics much better than SP is complete nonsense. Resident Evil: Revelations makes the PSP look 2 generations behind. The only problem with the game is the lag while loading.

As for novel type games, you're forgetting the Professor Layton series, which has roots in the visual novel genre.

Oh, so you mean a simultaneous release on those two systems or something? 'Fraid I'm not quite getting what you're getting at, but from what that sounds like, there'll be something extra for those that buy both versions. Yes Namco, we all know how you roll. ^^
