Here's a topic: Limited edition or regular edition? I think I'm going to go with regular seeing how damn expensive the limited edition is. I mean it's like $200 give or take, I'm not about to murder my wallet =^=

I really want the Limited Edition but it's too expensive... (it doesn't matter from where you order it, it is TOO expensive)
So I'm buying the Normal Edition... >-<

currently (re-)playing: Haruka naru Toki no Naka de 5 (PSP), Jyuuza Engi (PSP)

agreed. while all the extra stuff is nice, I don't think it's worth spending pretty much an entire paycheck of mine on it. ;w;

I still have to go and order it, I've been forgetting haha.

Limited edition here!
Although I wish it came with more stuff...(^^;; Sorry, I am needy) preferably a keychain or figure or something of the sorts!

If I wanted normal edition (or even the xbox limited edition) I could buy it wayyyy cheaper for xbox...so I'm going all out for the ps3 version.

That was when the exchange rate was good. At ~75 yen to the dollar, divide the price by three, add it again to the price, and divide by 100.

(19800 + (19800 / 3)) / 100 = (19800 + 6600) / 100 = 26400 / 100 = 264 USD. Now add shipping and deputy fees (if any).

I would like to point out that getting games used is often cheaper than getting them new especially if you wait a few months, and that around release, I can totally see vendors hiking the price to like 29000 yen or something outrageous.

As much as I'd love getting the limited edition, it's just too much $ for me. I tend to wait a few months before getting a game instead of getting them at release (unless the game is only having limited quantities released.) I agree, it's cheaper that way. ^^

@ the Play Asia vs Amiami thing
My problem with Play Asia is that I ordered the game on my birthday (May 9th) and it never showed up so I asked for a refund around the middle of July and they have still not given the money back. I am not sure if it was supposed to take that long, maybe I'm just impatient.

I've been buying from PlayAsia for years and I haven't had a problem with them. However, I've never had to deal with their customer service, as the postal services have never lost my packages shipped from them. I'd suggest to try contacting them again for that refund.

Since I'm not getting the PS3 version, I am looking forward to people here getting it. I'm curious if there's anything else new in the game that they haven't mentioned yet.

I am not sure if Amiami is any better but I am willing to try.

On-topic:
I hope that I can order this, looks awesome.
It's odd...I, like DJStarstryker, have been ordering from Play-Asia for quite some time.

However, I brutally abuse their customer service feature whenever a package is late / not shipped on time / payment junk / pretty much anything and I always get great service, even when I'm bothering them for what's essentially nothing.

Even with the default slow shipping, it shouldn't take anything over...I'd say a month max to get from HK to you. Unless the package gets trapped in customs or something; I had an insured package with tracking shipped to me from overseas and they totally lost it in customs (...I think), tracking number thus voided.

I think that Play-Asia themselves can't (or are not obligated to) refund your money if it's the mail service that ate it, especially if the package doesn't have tracking/insurance. It's hard to say for sure because I'm not a pro on these technicalities, but I hope that you can get your hands on your package somehow or another :\

I should be contacting them again soon about my missing package. They responded pretty quickly and everything and I understand why they wouldn't have to refund, but seeing so many people here and in other places have issues with it puts me right off ordering again unless they're the only place with what I'm looking for (like they were with what I ordered).

If I wish to buy G4U! on it's own, how much do you think people will sell it for?

Dang, I want this, but I likely won't be able to afford the limited edition, especially with the exchange rate being so bad. :P I wonder if they'll sell G4U! separately later on too...

I like how you can have a set playlist while you're taking photos, including the old songs. I wonder if you can take photos in a different setting than the beach and with different outfits? Or the possibility to have more than 1 idol in a photo? Maybe it's something they haven't shown us yet, or possible downloadable content for later. Way to make more money NBGI...
