I mean...my PS3 was primarily used by my brother and since he moved out it (more or less) collects dust so I don't know all its ins and outs, but you can use external pictures for wallpaper on a PSP for sure...

As long as you save them to the PS3, the images will show up under the photos xmb section in a folder and you can select to use it as a background from there like on the PSP. I haven't done it in a while on either of the two, but I'm pretty sure that's the basic gist of how you do it.
G4U might also do what PJD does where it makes a folder for itself in the photos section and you can just grab them from there. But yeah, you can easily get the image file onto another ps3 and use it as a background.

@The play asia vs. amiami topic: Amiami never works for me. I always have to convert the price, it has issues with my money and is just a pain i nthe fucking ass for me. I prefer play asia because simple is nice.

I'd be more wondering if someone was trying to push one over the other that the party is being paid to do so - but then again I'm used to that sort of thing. Granted I've also dealt with all sorts of technological evangelists in my line of work and I tend to find that that it's always somewhere inbetween, so take that statement as you will.
People will take a company they trust and/or done business with before, because of the fact that they're familiar with it. Convienence, familiarity, trust and ease of use are things people will pay money for - cheapest price isn't always the final factor.
Granted, I'm not taking any of the methods, since I've a different route to take (with a few signatures too), but that's the perks of being in the naturally nosy industry.

I suppose your right, there.
In hindsight, i guess the msot important thing is that the fans get the game, no matter where you buy it.

@ the Play Asia vs Amiami thing
My problem with Play Asia is that I ordered the game on my birthday (May 9th) and it never showed up so I asked for a refund around the middle of July and they have still not given the money back. I am not sure if it was supposed to take that long, maybe I'm just impatient.
I am not sure if Amiami is any better but I am willing to try.
On-topic:
I hope that I can order this, looks awesome.
