Well, now I'm permitted to talk more about it (I hate having to keep my powder dry) I'm permitted to talk more about it (and at least provide speculation about some aspects)
Basically, although Ai can WEAR 765 costumes, she can't participate with the other idols. She resides in the 'Guest section'.
The others are coming (Is it not obvious?) and they're showing up for a very specific reason. The only hint I got (more verbal sparring) is to watch the end of the anime, which I imagine he means that it opens to something else.
From my understanding, as the others come, there will be a specific reason to own the others. I cannot confirm it though, since last I heard, it was being debated, but it seems unlikely they won't add that extra reason, at least if the clues I've pieced together are correct.
What bothers me is the timing - I'm not sure if they shelved the Jupiter extension, or if they're saving it for later, because I thought they were going to do that before 876. Then again...
The song choice was more or less expected (Although anyone who's spoken with me with any length probably recalls me mentioning there being a promotional deal for the Anime, and how there's a plan that's explicitly executed. Basically, expect at least three more Anime songs, although I understand the deal's until the end of the BR release. Which order? THAT, I can't tell you.
As for other cameos, Macross is an option (although when, well, is another story. I have to check if there's a Macross release coming up) and I know there's at least one more Diva release (I thinking to coincide with 3DS' release). I also understand there was a negociation for a new one, but not sure how that one's going.
Don't make any mistake, this is a planned and executed proceedure and has been on the cards for about 12 months. Closer to 18 now I think about it, but my sense of time is always a bit lousy.
Anyway, there's enough speculation for you to play hunting with. I don't think I've said anything too obvious, or at least obvious enough to get me, or the people I talk with, in too much trouble.

As for 876 girls, I think I'm gonna hold off and wait for Eri since she was my fave of the trio : P I'm a poor college student after all, don't wanna go throwing all my money at namco all at once xD

Nice info, Setsuna. I think I'll just wait it out and see what happens, but it's great to know that there are still more exciting things in store for future DLC Catalogs, so I'm happy enough to know I won't be disappointed in the coming months.
The end of the anime will have something neat, hmm? Oh Thursday, please come faster~ I'm already looking forward to a big concert finale in ep25, but I won't turn down more good news on top of it. :)

Aw, I wish she could be included with the other idols. :( I could understand with Miku, since she's a Vocaloid, but not 876? Oh well, at least she's in pretty PS3 graphics. :)

I'm going to assume the last of the 3 idols is going to have an extra HELLO!! or something in the DLC with them to put them all in a proper trio, but hell, I'm just happy they're in the game.
