animagic4u:
This is quite strange, I bought several DLC for PSP with HKD and nothing like this has ever happened.

That's what I've been told anyway.

I guess I'll try the Japanese PSN at some point.

Edit: What's funny is that Kamisama no Birthday from the PSP games is available, so I don't see what the deal is.   ???

Like I said, the Asian PSN does not have the songs through the store, but you should still be able to purchase through the catalogs; SP works differently than iDOLM@STER 2 as the DLC structure is different (Buying DLCs for SP are the actual DLC files; In 2, the catalogs hold all the DLCs, the DLCs are simply licenses). If you still can't purchase it, I recommend the Miku DLC. I believe it costs 158HKD.

Edit: Just tested buying songs using my HK account; didn't work either. That might be because I'm running the Japanese version though.

Because obviously they were danced by real people.

Or are you talking about the dance moves in general and their asthetics?

Ordinary people.  Oh, I'd completely forgotten about the motion capture.  And now that I look at my original comment, I guess there aren't any impossible moves, just plenty of awkward-looking ones.  (I've seen Youtube footage of someone doing the semi-trip from Shiny Smile- that looks like it takes some coordination).

JNiles:
Who's listened to the full Animation Master 5 soundtrack?  What did you think of it?  I'm thinking of biting the bullet and springing for it- I could get it by Christmas if I act quickly.

Crisu:
I think it's a great collection.  It has fewer BGM tracks than the previous releases, so whether or not that's good depends on your preference.  Some of the songs have newer versions, like MEGARE is a group version while previously I think only solo versions existed?  Of course the premiere songs are Jibun REST@RT and Marionette no Kokoro.  There are two bonus tracks; a 16-minute one that sounds like an audio drama, and a 10-minute one that actually is just clips of all the songs that played during the episode 13 concert (not as unique).  The BGM tracks that are there are good ones in my opinion; they're the quiet and melancholy Aoi Tori and GO MY WAY!!.
