Yeah, the US economy is hurting bad right now.  Around 2008 it was good times for us, where $10.00 = 1000+ yen .  But today $10.00 will barely get you 800 yen.  So international things have become a lot more expensive...

I think this already came out yesterday if you see the other post above.

BTW. These Japanese PSN cards are so frickin expensive! I was hoping to be able to buy some DLC but it looks like that won't happen. :< Oh well.

How is the HKD exchange rate any better then the yen?
I only buy DLC in HKD at least the store's in English so I know exactly what I'm getting. ^^;

Catalog is out for PS3.  Downloading from PSN now.  :)

The graphic for it isn't working though.  It says "Missing Image" but you can tell from the title that it's Catalog #2.

Edit:  So bummed right now...... you have to have the Best 20 trophy to get the snow accessories but I don't play under my JPN acct..... so it won't let me buy them.  booooooo
That happened to me on the 360 version, too D: I just made another save file in my Japanese account and played a game or two through. You should be able to get it fairly quickly (maybe a speed round first playthrough for items/money, and get Best 20 toward the beginning of your second playthrough?)

Possibly. It's repriced in HKD, so bear in mind if NBGI decided to use a really high multiplier (like say 1 USD =10 HKD and they cross matched it with the JP one at the going exchange rates) it could be a lot more expensive.

It's ultimately a currency exchange thing, and that's markets and unpredictable at best.

Seeing that Jibun REST@RT in-game uses the same movements as in the anime makes me want to get it even more...

I'm really happy that the song is a quintet song...it's about time they put another out! I was expecting Colorful Days or LOBM to be re-choreographed for quintet compatibility, but I was disappointed. Perhaps they just won't do that with the old songs.

The last time I was in Japan was summer last year, and the exchange rate between yen and USD was 91-92 yen per $1.00, and it's only gotten worse since then. I'll go broke trying to buy all the DLC that I want, and might just have to limit myself to certain songs and a few outfits. D:

For some reason, as much as I love the new catalog, I still feel somewhat unsatisfied. I guess because not much jumps out at me enough to make me want it. I must say the new Floral pattern is beautiful though.

Here are some Jibun REST@RT solo performances that I've been able to grab from NND so far:

Haruka: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pz_Sljz1KEc
Takane: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZciD-xbbHf4
Ami: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RyfONE27vl4
Hibiki: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5x-6fYpBW8E
Makoto: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eji-oYJZzTk
Iori: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P-3k4ZX-QfY
Yukiho: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NDRW9lcb5Fk
Azusa: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rZIrh_daZ84
Chihaya: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RR4mMIjNb7E

I will post Miki, Yayoi, Ritsuko, and Mami once I find them.

Also, here is Makoto, Takane, and Yukiho performing "Kamisama no Birthday." It seems Jibun REST@RT's release has been overshadowing this song, since there are fewer videos uploaded for it so far. I suppose because it's a new song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YHRz6JbeNZ8

Well i jsut found out the anime Jibun REST@RT a little slower than the one in game, this makes editing a nightmare.
I Speed up the song and it sounds off. I slow down the video image and it looks choppy :/
