I think if you don't sit around and do math for iM@S, either you don't buy DLC or you have no plans to XD
And how is it that you can't get the complete items for 01-03? I thought they were all included in the game by default. I've even seen the shironeko accessories in it?
And yeah, I can give that the 360 has Kyun!Vampire Girl and Overmaster. Well, and L.O.B.M, not that that's as popular XD I guess I'm thinking of in-game advantages rather than DLC ones. because I can't buy them. Ohoho.
Though, when the PS3 version gets those (it's inevitable, I think) the 360 version better be getting Nanairo Botan. :1
Oh, I forgot to mention. The considerably improved on-stage camera controls in the PS3 version. You think NBGI would at least have mercy on 360-users to fix that up in a free patch? orz
There's 3 items missing - the hamster for completing catalog 1 (Never could get the thing to unlock myself - you need the mobile numbers), the hamburger ring from completing catalog 2, and the racing flag in catalog 3. They're supposed to be there if the entirety of Catalog 1, 2 and 3 are present, but they're well, not.
So technically not true, although to be honest, how many people actually KNOW they exist? What they don't know won't hurt them, or something anyway... so I better keep quiet.
On a serious note, from what various suggestions and discussions I've had, it was floated to add some (if not all) of the extra parts of the PS3 game via either an append disc (most likely a rerelease) or via a download, but it'd be a charged item. (But what were you expecting really?)
From a technical perspective, the PS3 version is just an extended build of the X360 version. (Like I said, 7 and some change advantage in extra time)
All in all the X360 has six and a bit catalogs in DLC that the PS3 doesn't have, a slightly cheaper DLC pricing, and effectively a 6 month head start. The PS3 has more starting features, some unique novelties and a lower starting cost. It also has the novelty of being run on a system that you don't have to import first.
It's not that clean cut (And I say this as an owner of both) although if you're starting out and have no intention of EVER buying any DLC, the PS3 version wins hands down (Assuming you somehow got a X360 out of Japan for like 2500 yen or something. With it, forget it.)
If you're not in it for MAD work, (Namely you don't really care about subtitles), then it's more of a question if you like the novelty that's S4U, The RK extra episodes, the RK new song and costume sets and what DLCs you like. Having access to six catalogs early (And not missing a beat and still have six catalogs in front) has its advantages.
If you need them both, well... You're stuck with what you have to do.
