Idolm@ster 2 on PS3

I don't know if someone else said this already (I missed a TON of posts on this topic...I stopped getting e-mail updates! orz) but the Christmas costumes in L4U weren't different on every girl.
Azusa and Miki had the same one.
Yayoi and Ami/Mami had the same one.
Ritsuko and Makoto had the same one.
Haruka and Yukiho had the same one.
Chihaya and Iori had the same one.
Aaaand iirc Hibiki and Takane had the same one, but in different colors like in the screenshot.

edit: Whoa. Stage DLC. NBGI please do that on the Xbox please please please please please.

anyway, what made me pop in here in the first place:


G4U volume 5. Pajamas and white sukumizu? NBGI is determined to have a swimsuit in all of these, huh?

Hah, that's a pretty cute cover. And yeah, I noticed that each of these volumes had swimsuits in them which kinda makes the first one kinda... Well.. Not unique. I can't remember correctly, but do each of the G4U come with that mini idol magazine like the first one did?

You know the ranking section of IM@S 2 where you see people's high scores and stuff?  I know some of my scores are high enough to get on the chart but I never see them.   That got me wondering:

1)  Has anybody else seen their own stuff in the rankings?
2)  If you have, were you playing under your Japanese PSN acct or a different region PSN acct?

It is entirely possible that Bamco tries to do the leaderboards based on country, though that seems to defeat the purpose imho.

There's from what I know a 4 hour delay (PSN servers are slow for one) so they're propagated quite a bit of time after. It's not a real time update.

From what I know each region will use its own area, so Asian editions would use from what I know an Asian ranking system, and so on. No clue where they lump the importers using EU or US accounts though...

I really hope that by some freak change of heart NBGI will compile them all together for release after they're all out. This is G4U vol. 5. To own all the G4Us at this point, it would be over $700 ($300 for the PS3LE and $100 for each anime bluray). TT_TT

i wont say for sure, but normally you want the pv out before the release, and the release is on tues/wed and i believe the store updates between tue-thurs.

Yeah. I think that they usually put out PVs around Monday U.S time and Tuesday in Japan. So i'll say the release  will probably be Wednesday U.S time and Thursday Japan time.

Actually most of the time everyone gets trolled. The good people at bumco usually upload them PVs way earlier on youtube and set the viewing options to public 2 weeks or so later.

Not very much actually. The catalog (in its entirety) is available at both ends. Well, apart from the extra stage. The X360 was advertising the catalog just like it normally would in game though.

They seem to be keeping up both, which is interesting.
