The Loli-trio episode haha.
This was actually a pretty decent episode, and for being a fan of both Iori & Yayoi I'm VERY pleased to see them focused on right away. It was a little more humorous and lighthearted than the first episode which was nice, and the fact they focused on a small group of idols most of the episode made things feel like less of a mess. So I'm a bit glad and hoping to see the anime continue to take this direction focusing on small groups at a time. Also thank gawd they included the HAI TOUCH at the end, I was waiting around for an eternity for that to happen.
Best Parts of this episode:
-Hai Touch
-Monsters
-The Iori picturebook ending
I have some gripes about this episode.
-First off, that Touma bit was not needed at all. It was like finding a rock in a delicious ice cream sundae. I just don't understand why they included that bit. If it was foreshadowing him as a rival to appear later in the series, why was he just casually strolling through the building? Wouldn't it make more sense if they just ran into him on the way to the photoshoot? If it was just a guest appearance, never to appear again in the series, it really doesn't make sense what went on there. Because it was so detached from what was going on in the episode it just derailed it for a second.
-The producer is so worthless. He seems like a weak character in comparison to the rest, and when the lolitrio asked him for help, he just gave up and joined them. I mean eventually he was able to shoot some pearls of wisdom to them, but he couldn't have done so without the help of Miki. To have him be confident and full of wisdom one second, to just your cliche harem male character the next, it doesn't make sense.
-The OP was kinda meh...it was a visual mess that didn't present the characters well IMO. Wasn't bad, but if they keep it for all future episodes, I'll just skip over it.
