How is that unlike their current game?

Although I wouldn't be surprised for a mobile game, it better be more than just an 'update' of sorts. It seems like they're going a little bit overboard. Plus their use of the words 'new project' make it sound to be completely different.
Although this is not really good news for all us westerners, it still suggests that they're open to the idea of development for several platforms increasing our chances of a future im@s on a system we can appreciate. Also CG and this new mobile game (provided that it requires you to play with other people) make me hope for im@s to once again contain online multiplayer.


Tl;dr: It better not be the 'same-old-stuff' in this new announcemet.

I'm personally hoping for some more of the DS crew, maybe a 3DS spinoff? They have been getting a lot of attention from Namco lately: g4u appearances, some cameos in the anime, and dlc. Whereas... like a year ago all we had heard from the DS series was a mention of Cineria in the rankings.

I also heard something about a big anime announcement!! in April, although that was from a friend.

Although... I'm not expecting much. It's probably a reveal of who's voicing who in the Cinderella Girl cds.
