You don't have to, as far as I know. All you need is to register, and input kanji to its search bar.

The timing with launching it seems off to me, though from the style of the page it looks like it could actually be official.

There's also the discrete link and copyright at the bottom, would they dare to use that if it weren't official?

Looks like it's official to me. Probably the blog is made by the Voice Actor of Eri and approved by NBGI.
