Ah, what a lovely day~ You can hear birds singing, the flowers are practically glowing, and the sun is smiling upon me with luck in mind. A perfect way to start the day~*giggle*
"H-Huh? Oh my gosh! I'm gonna be late for school".
I gonna be late. I know I'm early but~
"Mana-chan!"
"Huh? What is it, Dad?"
"Are you forgetting something, Mana-chan?"
"Oh! I'm sorry. Goodbye, Dad! See ya later!"
"Wait, Mana-chan."
"Aww... What is it this time, Dad?"
"Well. It's not that. It's just..."
"........"
"You...want to go to school without your things?"
"Huh........ Wah! Dad!"
Ahh! This always happens whenever the day is this perfect. I can't believe I forgot my things. Plus I'm still on my slippers. I gotta go back to my room, quick.
"OK. Let's see now. Lunch bag, check. Socks, check. Shoes, check. Ponytail, check. Schoolbag, check. Uniform, check."
Yes. This time I'm fully prepared.
"Well, thanks, Dad. See ya later!"
"Sure, Mana-chan."
That was my dad back there. Sometimes, I think of him as a kind, loving king. Other times, he's just my dad. He's always home because he's has no job. My mom's the one working now as a businesswoman. Huh. Oh, I'm sorry! I forgot to introduce myself.
I am Kohara Manami. I'm just your everyday 14-year-old girl. I'm actually half-Korean, see. But to be honest, one thing always made me stand out of the rest. I had this habit of daydreaming. I sometimes stare blankly into space and imagine being rescued by a prince in all sorts of scenarios. Hey! There's no time for this!
I always take the train whenever I go to school. I always take the same old route by the park near our building. And...
"Huh? Where am I? Why am I locked up in this room?"
"Rrrroooooaaaaaarrr!!!"
"W-What was that roaring sound?"
"You put up quite a fight, dragon! But this is when you shall fall by my blade!"
I looked out the window of the room. I saw a prince fighting a dragon! They both seem tired, but my prince had more power. I can feel it. His long, black hair flows with the gasps of the dragon, but he showed no signs of wavering or loss of focus.
"This is for my Princess Manami, dragon!"
That line was cliché, but it struck my heart strong. It sounded like the the best thing anybody ever told me.
"Rrrrr..."
"Haaaaahhh!"
*slice with echo effects*
"Hmph!"
My prince gave it all he got. He slashed the dragon's head cleared of the neck. He sheared his sword and took a deep breath. Huh? H-He's staring at me.
"Don't worry, my Princess. I'll come for you!"
Yes! My prince is coming to save me. It only seemed a second when he came to the front of the door and smashed it with his sword. He came in with that aloof face he has.
"My Princess..."
He takes off his gloves and comes closer. H-Huh? H-He's touching my face with his hand and seems to wipe off something. Was I crying?
"Manami..."
"Y-Yes?"
There's something I always wanted to say to you..."
"W-Wh-What is it?"
"Woof! Woof!"
"H-Huh?"
"Woof! Woof!"
Aww. No way. I-I was just daydreaming again? Oh man. I wonder what time is...
"Oh no! I'm really gonna be late! Thanks, doggy!"
"Woof!"
I lost 10 minutes just standing there! Luckily, I came to the station before the last train came. I always came on time. The train has less people today, but even if the train has a lot of passengers, it is always quiet. This makes me think random stuff. Right now, I wonder if...
"Comfy, mi dear?"
"H-Huh?"
"Heh. You shouldn't be daydreaming at a time like this, mi dear."
P-Pirates? What happened? And why am I tied up on this pole?
"Especially... When yar so close, with a 'charming man' like me."
"Ewww..."
I-Is this guy serious? The captain's face makes dogs look like . And, talk about untidy! He's touching my face with his glove that's obviously never cleaned. Ahh. I think I'm gonna be sick!
"Unhand her, infidel!"
"What?"
"H-Huh?"
I looked at where the voice was coming from. A very elegant ship is close to the pirate ship. From that ship, comes a well-dressed man with fair, blonde hair. Is that my prince?
"Argh! Why if it isn't the Prince of the neighboring kingdom. Fancy you coming aboard my ship."
"Why are you surprised? You have my beloved fiancee, and I can't let you get away with that!"
"But I like this one. She's different from the rest. And if you want to have her *snaps fingers* you have to get through my men!"
Pirates came from all over the ship. He was facing 10...30...No! 50! I don't think he'll take them all!
"Milord, let us help you on this one"
"No! Let me handle it. Because..."
His face changed to debonair smile to a serious glare, staring at the pirate captain.
"...this is personal!!"
"Heh. You really want to die that badly then. Alrighty, men, attack!!"
"Have at thee!!"
It seemed impossible for my prince to win. However, as the pirates charged at him, he took each of them down with one swipe. His attacks were so strong, it broke their swords and hit them. He was winning. Suddenly, I feel the ropes becoming loose.
"H-Hey!"
"Manami!!"
"S-Stay back, ya hear me! Or this girl will be singing with the fishes!!"
"Grrrr..."
"Let me go you, you ugly dog!!"
"A-Arrr!? What did you just call me, girl!?"
"You heard me! I said 'Ugly dog'!!"
"Why you..."
He raises his sword to me. I think I'm a goner!
"Aaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!"
"Arrrrgg-gghh!"
I opened my eyes to see that my prince has stabbed the pirate. I can only stay still like a doll as I watch with awe, my prince taking me away from the pirate and pushing him down to the sea. Afterwards, he takes me away from the ship's side and lays me carefully to the deck.
"Are you OK, Manami, my love?"
"Y-Yes. Thanks to you."
"........"
"Is something the matter?"
"Manami...I love you."
"I, I know."
"Manami..."
"My prince..."
Ooohh! I close my eyes as we are about to kiss. Yeeesss! Here it comes. I can feel it coming!
*screech*
"Wh-Whoa!!"
The train came to a real strong stop and pushed be to the edge of my seat. I was daydreaming again. You might have been wondering why my prince changed. You see, I have the habit of changing my type of guy, ending me up with having new crushes like, every two or three days.
At least I'm now here at my stop. I quickly got up and ran to school. It didn't took long, since it's a five-minute walk to school.
I got into class early, something I couldn't do everyday because I always daydream.
"Manami, there you are! You're almost late today, don't you know?"
"Alright, alright. I hear you Sakura."
That's Sakura, my best friend. She's always like that, lecturing me about daydreaming in the train.
"Hey, look there!"
"Whoa. Daisuke actually came early today"
"....."
Oh. That's Daisuke. Akimori Daisuke. Right now, he's my crush, you see. He's amazing, since I've been crushing on him for a long time now. I even think if he's the one for me. If only I could tell him that I was going to be an idol...
I completely forgot to mention that! You see, I'm an idol trainee at 765 Productions. I was hoping that I could win his heart if I became an idol and confess my feelings then. That's how it's like in Korea. My Procuder hasn't chosen me yet, but I know I'll have my debut soon!
"Manami? Hey, Manami! Snap out of it! The teacher's coming!"
"Oh. Okay."
The class went to their seats, as did we. The teacher came in, and class started.

My seat is real nice. It's just left from Daisuke's, and his seat is just by the window! Sometimes, I would just stare at him. He looks good under the light of the morning.
"Manami!"
"H-Huh? W-What the!?"
"Keeeekekeke!"
"Waaaahhhhh!!"
H-How did I got up here? Feathers? Am I on a big bird? And who's there? A witch?
"MANAMI!!"
That voice, could it be...
"Daisuke!!"
It's Daisuke! I feel relieved when he showed up. He chased the witch on a dragon. He charged towards the bird and stabbed it.
"Eeeeeeeeeekkkk!!"
"Manami! I got you!"
"D-Daisuke"
I stared at his eyes. Before I know it, we were at the ground. He was still carrying me. Oh~! I feel a kiss coming up. Well, here goes...
"Maaaa-naaaa-miiii..."
I-It's the witch again! I thought she's gone!
"Manami..."
Errr.....
"What do you want, WITCH!?"
"M-Ma-Manami!!"
"H-Huh?"
"Whoa! Did that just happen?"
"Manami just called Sensei a witch?"
"She's gonna be in big trouble that's for sure."
Oh man! I was daydreaming again? And I messed things up big time!
"Psst! Manami! What have you done?"
"Well, Sakura, I, I..."
I happened to look at Daisuke. He's just sitting there, focused on his book.....
"Kohara Manami..."
"Y-Yes...."
Sensei is really mad. If this was an anime, we'd be seeing some yandere aura right about now. Her voice is even cold!
"Please come to me at the Principal's Office..."
Sensei has my hand as we leave the room. People are still talking about me, but I was looking at Daisuke. He still is just there, without a care of what had just happened.
Going to the Principal's Office was a pain. Sensei kept on nagging about what happened at class earlier. The Principal was kind, though. She let me off with a week's detention.
Class went by quickly this time. And in detention, it was pretty quiet. Well, since I'm the only one whose here. Fuuu...
"Hey. Manami."
"D-Daisuke, how did you get here?"
"Never mind that! Is it true you're gonna be an idol?"
"Y-Yes. But, how did you know that?"
"M-Manami..."
"What is it?"
"I....um......I think it's great that you're going to be an idol."
"R-Really?"
"Yeah."
Is this really happening? Daisuke can't stare at me straight for long. Is my plan actually working?
"Manami."
"Ye-Yes..."
"Wake up, Manami."
"Huh? What do you mean?"
*poke**poke*
"Uh...Huh?"
"You were daydreaming again, Manami. Detention's over for today. You can go home now."
"Wh-Whaa!?"
In the end, it was all a daydream. Oh man. I thought it was real and, ahhh!!
Well, I feel like walking home today, after what happened. Walking on sunsets make me relaxed. Alright, then! Tommorow's the day that I tell Daisuke about my plan, Ha!
I got home on time, and every night would be like the same. Dad has cooked dinner, but he decides to wait for Mom to arrive. After dinner, I did my dishes, and perpared for bed.
It's Saturday and that day, I got on my best outfit. Well~ just my regular wear but still.
"Manami, are you going somewhere?"
"Just gonna be out for a while."
"Okay. But come back! I got a call from a-"
"Well, see ya!"
"H-Hey! Manami!"
I'll have a visitor. Got it. I gotta find Daisuke, tell him my plan and milk it for as long as I can! Oh, and rush back afterwards.
It's a bit embarrasing, and strange, but I sometimes spy on Daisuke on Saturdays. Ummm...It's not really spying, I just see him on the book store everytime. He buys books, of course, but I think he's always there waiting for someone...
But now's not the time for that! The book store is just around the corner. Alright! Here comes the turn and...
"Hey, Daisuke, what's so good about that book?"
"Well, it's about a girl doing all sorts of things to get a guy to like her."
H-Huh? Wh-What's happening here?
"Really? Tell me more!"
"Okay. The guy had no idea about it until the end where she became famous and she confessed her love for him. In the end, they live happily ever after."
I-Is this a dream. No way! My daydreams aren't like this!
"Daisuke, what your favorite scene?"
"Well it's where..."
N-No! No! No! NO! NO! NO!! Th-This.....This isn't happening! Waaa!!!
"...!"
"...?"
"Daisuke, who was that?"
No! My plans, they're all ruined now! Was all my hardwork for nothing? Was trying to get Daisuke a waste!? I, I can't take it anymore! I'm quitting! What good is it to be an idol if I can't get Daisuke! I'm gonna go down the office and quit!
It was hard. I never thought Daisuke already have someone. I didn't care about the people around me. The sooner I get to 765 Productions, the better!
*THUD!!*
"Agh. What the? H-Hey there, are you alright?"
"O-Oh. I-I'm sorry"
"Are you crying? Here's a handerchief."
"Th-Thanks."
"H-Hey! Are you, by any chance, Kohara Manami?"
"Y-Yes. But, who are you?"
"Well, I'm your Producer!"
"H-Huh?!"
