I'm pretty happy since I picked up a lot of yummy sweets today. ^^ Like Filipino Cheeze Curls and hopia!~

WOW! I never knew you eat those Cheese Curls! And ooh you eat hopia?! That's good! I ate a piece of some ube (purple yam) hopia from a small store, and boy that was good. And even I perfect for a afternnon snack with a cold glass of ice tea. 

ON TOPIC: Managed to get a blue-colored Olympic Glass from McDonald's after my photoshoot at the exhibit.

Edited For: Holy shit, there’re 3 armed police vans and some unmarked police everywhere, along with some massive police van with this police officer with a machine gun outside it. There're police dogs, too, and so many people getting arrested after this new shooting... Hopefully nobody was seriously injured or, Gods forbid, dead.

^ Well, to be fair to Manchester, it's not usually like this... But still, holy shit! It turns out that the family that was targeted - or, what's now left of it, at least... - were wannabe gangsters, so it a kind of weird schism. While that's reassuring, as I've never been the kind to involve myself in any kind of illegal activity at all (save for downloading music I can't afford to import, lol) it's still so sad that people died.

I think the people involved have been amongst the huge horde to be arrested, though. It just begs the question; where the bloody Hell did they get this huge arsenal from? This isn't America, you can't buy that stuff from shops here.

Uhmm... wow dude. Just wow. They don't have friends in the military, do they?

^ Yeah... Wow indeed! I'm not sure about their connections, but apparently they've still not caught the main guys they're after, so maybe more information will be released when they do. I'm not too worried for myself, more for people I know, since you never know who might get caught in a crossfire, even if it IS a targeted attack.

That... Would definitely be very unfortunate. I don't think anybody actually died in the explosion, though, but I think I read somebody was severely injured.

This is a little late, but how are Filipino Cheeze Curls different from American Cheeze Curls?

As for myself, I'm feeling a bit surprised since I got a pair of glasses.  I think the glasses are messing with my depth perception because I'm used to having distant objects be more out of focus.
