Mine's was the opposite.
In fact, the whole course was the book word for word. ^^

I think the reason for my case may be because my intro psych prof had been around for quite a while, and so had to change books many times, but his course stayed the mostly same.

Oh, my psych professor was the old and slightly senile type. ^^ Just the kind of guy you want teaching!! <3 (not sarcasm)
He could never get through his lectures so reading the book was the only way.

I dunno. Just a general one, I think, considering it isn't a degree.
My final is tomorrow, and I know most of the qualitative stuff, but I've a terrible head for figures. :x

Then I guess the course you're taking is different from the one I took. Mine was all qualitative, no math. Are they teaching you how to do statistical analysis of experimental research? But since your final is tomorrow I'd better not waste any more of your time. You could still do well. When I took my first psych exam, I thought I was unprepared, but I ended up getting a good grade.
