And it's even harder when they give you a specialized version for your major.

Yup. Here's a dictionary definition:
"The branch of mathematics that deals with the finding and properties of derivatives and integrals of functions, by methods originally based on the summation of infinitesimal differences. The two main types are differential calculus and integral calculus."
Calculus is different from math courses taken earlier in that it requires you to do a lot more problem solving. And by problem solving I don't mean "math problems." Perhaps someone else could provide a definition for problem solving, since it's not in my dictionary and I don't want to give misinformation. :)

Ah, Calculus...fun times, should have practiced it more (considering that I need to do that for pre-major work in psychology; I'm switching majors from history to psychology.)
Anyway, kinda stressed out that I have to finish a project for a History of the Middle East class. Wait, why am I here in the first place?
