Really?
... You going to Otakon, by any chance? I know a few people going if you're performing there.
And where'd you go in Japan and for how long?
No plans this year, no. Sorry! I have attended Otakon in the past, though, back in 2001 and 2003. I'd like to go again someday! I dunno if I could drag any of our group with me too, though. Haha.
I was in Japan for two college semesters, so nearly a year, and I was in Saitama Prefecture. It's right by Tokyo, so you can easily visit the city, but it's still far away enough that you can enjoy the lovely rural area you're in.

The school I went to was Tokyo International University, and I stayed with a host family.
I recently visited again for 5 weeks last September/October, and just stayed in Tokyo. It wasn't the most ideal trip, but I was mostly there to study for the JLPT anyway.
Welcome to the forums and the IMAS community Michi~
Its always good to see more Haruka fans =D
Thank you! Yay for Haruka!

I was going to say the same thing!
Well, welcome to Project Im@s! I barely got into im@s last year, but you're a veteran fan compared to most of us.
Haruka is <3. I find I have a lot in common with her anyway.
Thanks! Haha, I am seriously overdue for participating more in the fandom though...! I tend to keep a lot of my fandoms to myself, honestly.
Wohooo finally another imas fan from the Bay Area. You guys were at Fanime in 2010 if I'm not mistaken right. I had just moved in the area around that time and someone here showed me a vid of your performance.
d O_o b <---- thumbs up to ya for representin hope i get to see you guys this year
Bay Area born and raised! And yes, we were! We did "my song" for the masquerade and then had a longer show on Sunday at Stage Zero where we performed something like 5 or 6 songs. We'll be at Fanime again this year, so I hope you get to see us this time too!
Hello there.
Yeh, you're like me. The video games was my passions (since I was 3 years old), I played them all the time, any kind (dancing, FPS, RPGs), but yeah. Welcome here and enjoy your stay!
Awesome! Yeah, I think I was about 3 when I first started playing video games too. I played a lot of Mario on the NES with my dad.

Welcome to the forums!
You seem to have played every iM@S game! Which is your fav by far?
...All 'cept for Dearly Stars, I guess. And I technically haven't held the controller for the first two 360 games, just IM@S 2. Hahaha. Honestly I think the PSP one is my favorite, perhaps just because I've spent so much time with it!
I see you live in the same area as Sev. XD
Hello and Welcome to project im@s michi.
Thanks!
psst Sev I'm also Bay Area too
I hope you post some pics of your cosplays! I've always wanted to do an iM@S one but never got around to it.
Bay Area IM@S fans unite?

Well, here you go:

http://www.acparadise.com/acp/display.php?c=13427 (Fun fact, when I did this in 2007 I didn't need a wig. Now my hair is to my waist, so I definitely needed to get a wig for Haruka for my new outfits!)
In progress are Pop Sound Blossom from the PSP games, and the Floral & Luxury costumes from IM@S 2. Later this year I wanna do the Variety Animal outfit (which, for Haruka, is a panda suit -- AWESOME) and maybe some others.
A cosplayer and an iM@S video gamer? Awesome!
Are you guys planning to dance any new songs from iM@S 2?
Oh! I almost forgot...Nice to meet you! I'm Clear Blue! Please make yourself at home!
It's great to find more Haruka fans!
(Main Heroine FTW!)
(I wonder if this person can help us with our translating group?)
Yes!! Actually, this Sunday we're doing The World is All One!! at the San Francisco Cherry Blossom Festival. We've got 5 of us, so I'm STOKED. We'll be adding some other IM@S 2 songs to our shows later this year too, for sure.
Hi! Thanks~
..and uh, yes? I've passed 3 of the 5 Japanese Language Proficiency Tests so far and I always love new reasons to flex my Japanese skills!
